FEd98 version 3.0 has been released. Yes, we know it's been two months. Take a relief. You can now download the full version. It also include JEd version 1.1b10 (Jersey Editor), although integrated to FEd98, but actually an independent utility. If you a newbie to the jersey creation, please check outt our TIPS/SUPPORT page for a brief info, or visit FUNKY SOCCER HOMEPAGE : GFX TUTORIAL SECTION for details.

FEd98 version 2.0 has been released. You can either download the full version or update version. Be amazed with the new features including the new JEd version 0.0b6 (Jersey Editor), although integrated to FEd98, but actually an independent utility. You can use it on its' own. Additional notes, if you having problem with jersey colors not appear correctly, please check out our TIPS/SUPPORT page or visit FUNKY SOCCER HOMEPAGE : GFX TUTORIAL SECTION for details. I have listed down the jersey that can have 3 colors, 2 colors and only 1 colors. Nothing can be done as it is totally related to FIFA98. Sorry, FEd98 can only allow 64 jerseys as FIFA98 cannot accept more than this.

FEd98 version 2.0 will be release tomorrow. Yep, no doubt about it. It has been added with a new features like editing league name, jersey editing, stats and more. Take a look at the screen shots to see what I'm talking about. It's going to be small, just 500KB cause it is an upgrade package. Just keep on visiting, if the link is here than the file is here. FAQ page has been updated with a few new answers. What I did was adding a questions and answers floating in FIFA98 Online Forum for the record. I also extract a jersey information from my FUNKY Soccer Homepage to TIPS/SUPPORT page. The full version of my tutorial on creating jersey still and can only be found from the my personal web sites, FUNKY Soccer Homepage.

FEd98 Version 1.0 Build 4 HAS BEEN RELEASED!! Sorry for the delay in updating this official sites. I'm having problem to be online. But now is okay (I hope). FIFA98 Online Download section has been updated with the latest build. So no more word, just go to download section of this sites. FEd98 HAS BEEN RELEASED!! Please check FIFA98 Online Download section for a list of FEd98 mirror sites where you can also download FEd98. Not to confuse you, all selected mirror sites were actually maintain by a persons who also a member of FEd98 Team. Keep in mind it is still EXCLUSIVELY for these two sites only, FIFA98 Online FEd98 Official page and FUNKY SOCCER HOMEPAGE (FSH). An updated FAQ are on the way. If you have jersey related problem, go visit our alternate web sites, FUNKY Soccer Homepage. You can find a tutorial to create your own jersey as well as a table of jersey type. Check it out first before posting message to the forum saying the third or second color don't work. It's been there since a months ago. Don't let yourself unguided.

Talking about some questions raised in the forum, [laugh] it's so funny, haven't you read FEd98 HELP? Please read HELP. It has been prepared by Clinton Crous and Chau Le, and I tell you, some of the posted questions regarding FEd98 already been answered if only you click HELP.

No hard feeling okay, it happen to me too, sometimes. [laugh]. Just laugh with me, [laugh], aren't we...[laugh] f..o..o..l..[all guilty people laugh to himself till fade]

Do you want to see a new look of FEd98? Check out our updated Screenshot page. We are now still testing FEd98 Build 21. Also Tips/Support Page have been updated with a link to my personal web sites, FUNKY SOCCER HOMEPAGE. Hey, do you like Mysteries/fiction stuff, check out FIFA98 ONLINE Forum. You'll find an interesting messages regarding FEd98 (hopefully it haven't been deleted). I vote the for the best fictional story of the week. I guess he is a talented writer.

We are now testing FEd98 Build 20. I also like to clarify the misunderstanding raised in the forum. FEd98 just like other software will NOT be a bug-free software. It is a reality that no software have ever been released or will be release are free from glitches, errors, bugs, etc. Even the giant MICROSOFT which has a hundreds of programmers, designers, etc, were not able to release their product with a tag 'BUG-FREE' software.

So, let me stress this again, we, the FEd98 Team members, have NEVER stated :
'FEd98 WILL BE A BUG-FREE SOFTWARE WHEN RELEASE'

We deny any statements or messages posted in the forum or any type of media which have lead you to that misunderstanding. We also like to clarify that we have no relationship with EA SPORTS in anyway.

For those who are patient enough, let me brief you that we are now testing FEd98 Build 18. We really hoping everything will be A okay. When it's going to be release? Can't tell you yet. But we thank you very much for your patient. By the way do you know that FIFA98 Online has it's own Forum? Check for yourself.

There are too many posted messages from unethical fooling-around persons (UFP) in the forum. I guess this UFP thing need to be reported to the X-Files for further investigation. We're working on tracing the UFP. I hope for those you patient enough, bear with us as we are not fool any of you. We're trying our best, up to neglecting our other commitment. For your information, we are now testing FEd98 Build 13, hoping  to further reduce the bugs that we've found so far, so that by the time it reach your PC, you won't have much problem. We cannot say, at the moment, you will not find other bugs. There is still a few, I suppose, that we may not be able to trace it during the testing. On behalf of FEd98 team, I ask you to support us, not much,  by waiting patiently and ignoring any messages posted to FIFA98 Forum regarding FEd98. We've decided not to post any message to announce, officially,  the release of FEd98 or anything related to it. Sorry for this but the UFP messages have create anger on some of you toward us although we have nothing to do with it. If you are one of them (angry people), we are sorry. If it happened to be you're one of the UFP, keep up your 'good' work and don't forgot to watch X-Files or MIB or ID4. You gonna love it.

Here is the summary of the main features you can expect:

  • Transfers players without limitation (money or whatsoever) from league to national, and/or national to league, from team to team of the same or different league/zone.

  • Import customized patches (db files) to any other league or world cup zones. For example, you have downloaded Aussie and ACWCL. Before FEd98 era, you have to unzip Aussie's DB files to user. But you cannot unzip ACWCL's DB files at the same time as it will overwrite Aussie's files. With FEd98, you can import both patches and then transfer the teams to any different league or combine the teams to the same league (limited to teams number in the league or zone). Once satisfied, you can either save it to make it permanent (it modified three DBI files) or export to make a new DB files.

  • Exporting (creating DB files) where you can distribute it to internet user.

  • Do you want to create super team, now you don't have to worry about HEX editing. Just click Max button or drag the bar to suit your need. Save and it will become super player (sorry he can't fly).

  • Creating All-Club Championship in World Cup format? You can do it on your own with ease as long as you want to spend sometimes with FEd98.

  • Do you want to increase the team bankroll? Well if you still want to, you got it with FEd98. But do you really need to?
