Personality of the Year

We start off with the fifth and fourth finishers. With tying votes, however, a join fourth place has been given to David Witts and Joey Jones. Congratulations to both gentlemen!

Joint Fourth Place:

David Witts of www.fifa-mra.com

"David Witts invented the popular FIFA MRA utility back in September of 1999. This utility allows you to organize your downloads for FIFA, and other soccer games from EA Sports. Currently it supports all games between FIFA 98 – 2001 (including WC 98 & Euro 2000), and of course 2002 will be supported as well. Dave is a big personality on the FIFA scene, because he’s always very helpful and polite. And the daily patch news he’s posting on Soccer Gaming’s FIFA sites, proves that he’s putting a real effort in to make the game more enjoyable for the fans!"

Joey Jones of www.soccered.com

"Where would the FIFA community be without the excellent quality stuff, the humour and the controversy that you get from JJ? He may get a lot of stick for what he has done in the past, including his infamous time at SG - but he has shown what he can do since his link up with Soccered.

He has made websites, including the former FIFACS which was popular in it's short lifetime and soon Footygaming. Also he has made graphics, rosters and written a few articles on the series, but when it comes to making kits, he is the expert at it.

Even though JJ has made kits from FIFA 98 onwards, it's only since FIFA 2001 that he has really made an impression, making over 1000 kits, albeit only a fraction were released at the Jerseyland. With FIFA 2002 about to be released there's surely going to be more of them.

Interestingly he is also one of the few people who can say that they've owned every FIFA game that has been released - he bought his first FIFA game eight years ago.

Away from the FIFA scene he is currently studying for a degree in multimedia computing and hopes to work in the computer industry. In his spare time away from the computer his hobbies include soccer, cars, music and beer drinking."
