How come good fan detail was never added? How come they dont wave flags anymore?!
What happened to all of this?

I think that should come back...
There should be a "FLARES" detail added into the fans.
Flares are the smokebombs that fans bring and different colours of smoke rise up. Its a beautiful scene.
The details should be smokebombs...and it gets foggy during the game...flags in the stadium.

I think they really should have flares and i believe someone came out with a patch that adds waving flags to the game.

Yup flares and smoke bombs would be good but i suppose if it happened while u were playing it would look like a scene from Bayroot

They are disabled by EA so you can't activate them only wavng flags....

There Disabled ? So they actually were made in the game? If this is the Case im sure u cud enable them somehow.

i agree if they have been disable then they can be enabled and this would be great having flares

Yeah but how does anyone have a clue about the flares? ive never seen any hint or them being in fifa 2004?

I think it might have something to do with "streamers" only it is called something different, could be toilet paper for all we know but i will try to enable it, when i get microsoft access, as this is an important part of the game.

No mates you can't activate the Flares or Streamers EA has pulled it out off the game they only let waving flags in it.

I've checked the .ini files in INI.BIG & INIPC.BIG in data/cmn

and there in 1 of that ini files in the big files you can find the lines

Flares = 0 but 0 is off and 1 is on so i have tried but no luck they are not in the game only waving flags;)

OK well that sums it up thanks alot Lukeprice for lookin into it m8, shame really god knows why EA did that :S

Check the TCM vids, the flares in that are quality - the smoke actually goes onto the pitch on occasions
