i have discovered something in the cfg_pc_m file in the cmn file of data.
Near the bottom it has some lines saying:
//RMRain
RMRAIN_ENABLED = 1
RMRAIN_NUM_DROPS = 1024

Is this something to do with rain effects in the game? If so there is still no rain in my game, but will this help anyone to work out how to enable it if it is possible?

This thread is probably no use but i thought it might provide some insight to those people who actually understand computers (not me) and might help us solve something.

In past fifas there was rain snow thunder and all sorts maybe ur command line maybe something or a patch could be released?

nope.. patch maker have try that command but to no avail.. it wun work.. not a single drop of rain in game

i think ea should make weather effects in the next games again. i hate it that each stadium is much too dark. there should have been more sunshine and also rain or snow! last year there was a wether patch and i hope some1 would do something like that for fifa 2k4

i have seen screenshots of EURO 2004 with rain in it so it looks hopeful.

I hope FIFA 2005 has all the missing things FIFA 2004 doesnt and has more kind of Gameplay Like PES but i doubt that.

On the topic of EA leaving stuff in. Look thru the data files of FIFA2003 and you will find front end art work for WC2002- and something tells me a title prior to that, but i cant remember. now thats slack!

EA leaving stuff out- its simple, Microsoft use the theory all the time, leave **** out to make people by the newer version with that feature in it. I know it will sell Euro.
