Info-

LOTUS POLICE CAR

Battenburg Elise debuted at Norfolk Cruise

Lotus recently provided Norfolk Constabulary with an Elise complete with Battenburg reflective livery for use at a cruise in the county.

Featuring flourescent stickers and special gold wheels and blue brake calipers, the car was used at an official cruise held at Great Yarmouth stadium earlier in the month. Over 5,000 people were expected at the event.

Following successful cruise events in Great Yarmouth a conference involving 25 police forces from around the country, Great Yarmouth Borough Council and Cruise organisers took place after the event. The parties met up to discuss good practice, cooperation and legislation relating to policing similar events in the future.

Nice to see, the public will be footing the bill in taxes again. Thats great. Loads of people are struggling to live while the pigs are rolling around in Lotus Elises, lovely.

Aye that's what I thought but in that article it says Lotus donated the car so I guess that's not tax payers money then

Ahh fair enough then :$

I didn't read the article cause I saw something about it a few weeks ago, it didn't mention anything about Lotus donating the cars back then.

The Royal London Hospital recently took delivery of 3 liveried Subaru Impreza WRX STis as emergency doctor cars, courtesy of the local Subaru dealer...don't really ever see them getting over 30mph tho cos Whitechapel is always choc-a-bloc with traffic...how pointless is that? :|
