I liked the Euro 2004 demo. The AI has been improved compared to FIFA 2004, and there are less bugs, at least the obvious ones.
I would also like to know how to change the resolution. I checked all the .ini files and there is nothing about res there...

This time they actually brougth flares, just look at the pic from my demo.:D

hm... for 4 years the demo = ripped full version. Haven't played the game yet... so no comments for it now.

And fifa demos are never beta anything.....the game is already in the pressing when the demo is out.....

I feel like I play fifa 2k4, in my opinion fifa 2003 was still better..
faces are good as usual, ball looks good but they still move like frogs...

sorry for this, it's just my opinion after playing demo with demo factory to play with various cameras and settings..

just played it, saw a major flaw is that Barthez slide across the floor when the ball is crossed. But I had to say its the best 'fifa' ever.

edit: a minor flaw is that the player tackled was on the ground cursing me... in the replay, it clearly shows that he didn't even fall down. :confused:

Finally someone agree with me!!!!! The graphics in Fifa 2003 were amazing!!! But in fifa 2004/euro 2004 they suck!

everyone is criticising the game, come on, the game it's very good compared to last year and.....you can't expect much from half a year of making a game

for misterm, maybe it'll be good if you try the game by YOURSELF....

i really CANT UNDERSTAND how people can say, fifa is better than pes, when playing THIS SH*T ??
everything is scripted to its maximum, graphics look even worse than fifa2003, no playability, not enough control of the ball, 300km/h shots, totally unrealistic animations during shooting,passing,GK saves,headers,...

Yes. At the moment I like it. I honestly don't think it's that scripted, it seems much more random and realistic to me.

The animations are great, I don't understand ibo's comments, they're probably the smoothest and most realistic looking animations i've seen in any fifa to date.

Maybe it's just that I've only played the demo four times, but, whatever the case, I really like the game! :confused: :)

The game is catchy like most FIFA games, you want to keep playing it.

But I'm 100% sure after a while everything will become clear and we'll be banging in shots further out then the CPU would ever dream of.

BUT! On a higher note, I haven't scored yet, every shot I've had has gone pretty wide...but I'm not going to say "praise the lord", just yet. I'm waiting for that stupid annoying bug to prop up, you know EA...get rid of one bug, and replace it with a few more! :(

How can people say this game is similar to FIFA 2004?? Its incredibly different. Its smoother, the graphics are nicer and scoring is harder. The skill moves are hot but it hard to actually beat defenders with them though my favorite so far is the nutmeg with Henry, leaves defenders in my dust.

So far I haven't managed to actually win a half which is a good thing for the game but its definately pissing me off (H)

as nobody has mentioned, yes, there are 3 versions of the demo named:

Euro_PC_DEMO_EFr.exe (england vs france)

Euro_PC_DEMO_ItG.exe (italy vs germany)

Euro_PC_DEMO_SpPor.exe (spain vs portugal)


NOW, I downloaded all 3 of them but I installed the italy vs germany one and it also includes Portugal SO, can someone tell me if something like this happens with the rest of the demos?

question? why EA released 3 demos seperately

England v France Demo
-include England, France and Portugal

Italy v Germany Demo
-include Italy, Germany and Portugal

Spain v Portgual
-include Portugal again~~~

why don't they just release 1 demo, include England, France, Italy Germany, Spain and Portugal?? if each demo size 98mb, 3 demo are 294mb. i think if they combined every team in 1 demo, the file size are much lesser. it is waste time to download all of them, waste your hard disk space to install all of them, and also importantly, waste your time to load different demo just to play different team

I downloaded the England/France demo and I am having a minor problem, the beginning and loading screens look lopsided; they seem to be more to the left of my monitor and after playing the demo when I shut my computer down I see a white box sliding down the screen saying "out of range" before my computer turns off. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

what is your resolution and your monitor size?

My resolution is 600 by 800 and my monitor is 14"

800 x 600 i think should be ok, may be EA want higher. 14" monitor may too small, i not quite sure on it. i currenly using 1024 x 768 and 15" monitor, it works well

maybe your refresh rate is too high

Sorry I'm utterly hopeless with computers :$. How would I find out what my refresh rate is?

Display Properties / Settings / Advanced / Monitor - Check your refresh rate here, set it to 85 hz or above for optimal performance. Anything less is bad for your eyes and your monitor as well.

Have just done what you told me to but alas the problem persists :(. Thanks for trying to help anyway (Y). I have noticed that one of the refresh rate options is "adapter default" which I'm tempted to try...

i have a problem. i donwloaded an upgrade for my grafix card. so now i can play euro2004 demo. but now my mouse when i play like 2003 or 2002 it slowsdown sometimes..

This game has dribbling that was lacking from the last. Cant wait for the full game when no doubt the bug dissapointments and frustration will show up but......baited breath!!

well the first couple of times i got whooped, mainly cuz i couldnt seem to aim the freakin shot....got a bit used to it now...my biggest win was 3-0...its not a bad game actually...im gonna get the full version for sure
