Is it possible for me to leave my team and be without a job and then apply at another team?

I mean leaving the team and not getting fired, and then applying for another job where the manager status is secure but I have a better reputation than the manager there.

If I'm reading your question right: You want to apply for a job while still at the club your are managing. However, the club you are applying at still has a manager.

If this is the case then the answer is no. You can't do that to my knowledge.

You can do that in real life. Not very nice towards the other manager, but you can.
In CM it can't be done.

well yeah you can ruud but no you cant. You cant OFFICIALLY do it until the club tells the current manager he is to be sacked. Otherwise its breach of contract to sign some kind of pre-contractal agreement.

E.G. Sven couldnt have signed for Chelsea without Roman etc telling Ranieri first, cos its in his contract.

You cant legally go behind the current managers back

Nope, but you still can. Everything can be agreed, as long as the date on the contract is after the sacking of the current manager. And replacements can also be signed if a manager's contract is running out.
:p

You can't take a job that's already taken, naturlich.

Unless you take the identity of the manager and kill him. Not... that I'm... saying you should do that.

I want to switch jobs and manage a national team. Do I have to wait until the national team manager gets sacked and then I can resign and apply for the job? Is it possible to resign from the club without retireing in CM 01/02??? Is there another way to do it except a ultimatum?

Yes you have to wait until the national teams manager gets the sack before you can apply for the job, even then you might still not get the job, due to reputation and what not.

Yes you can resign from a club without retiring.
