It's FIFA 2004, because EA made a different boot texture. There the old FIFA template boots..

Yeah these shots are official. And dont say the kits are old. EA always use the old kits in the promo shots. Check the old pre shots of FIFA 2004/2003/2002 if you dont believe me!

I dont know why you guys get hyped up about the screens. I think we should not forget that Gameplay is the must important thing in a game. We will have to play the demo first before we can judge this game.

And dont believe the ****ty improvements facts they will release.... Because they do that EVERY year!

actually the game wont suck until we8 comes out but i by the gmae anyway. and its not that bad. especailly when your playing with someone.

we 8 graphics arent as good as fifa but we all care about gameplay

On this link it says that Fifa 2004 is going to ship in spring. Is this a typo? Wont it ship in fall, after all, this is spring right now...

guys I think we should give EA a last change to prove that they can make the best soccer game out there, if this year they mess it up as always then next year I'm going to buy the PES series!!!

Yeah but it was ruined by EA's lack of research on national teams, and some licencing issues, meaning many teams had players whose names were "No 1", "No 2", "No3" and so on.

Also the whole of the CAF and OFC weren't included either, so you couldn't play a full World Cup qualifying campaign with them either. FIFA RTWC 98 was the best for national teams, it more or less had every nation and almost correct rosters.

i only started playing fifa with fifa 2002, so thats why i think its best.

I didn't mind about the messed up names and stuff, i could just edit them for my teams ie. India, Holland.

no matter how many chances u give fifa if they do better ir not im going to buy it. it will still mkae good for company playing vs

Even though its still early true but its not like they started last week... they did say that the Euro 2004 had its own team apart form the Fifa team so maybe they have been working on it since the release last year so a good part of the time is over already, but anywho cant wait to read the previews etc...

i cant wait either, and i think rport03 is right. They had a seperate team working on euro so they have probably been working on it for a long time.

Yea and hopefully there finally going to leave the graphics alone and just focus on gameplay and other features such as, create-a-player, create-a-tournamnet/league, unlockable soccer balls etc... I mean there so much more they could do and hopefully they add alot to '05

Is it just me or are their heads just alittle too big compared to the bodies??

Once Fifa 2XXX is done, the team immediately moves on to develop Fifa 2XXX+1. Usually, not everyone in the team finishes the same time. Eg- Audio engineers would probably finish months before the software engineers. During that time, the audio engineers are employed to start on Fifa 2XXX+1.

Anyways, why are you guys getting horny over screenshots? Seems like they are using the same graphics engine since Fifa 2003. Nothing new really.

I also say whats wrong with fifa and i dont mind when everyone else does it too. I'm just saying you should be constructive about it and give reasons and say how it should be better.

I dont really care about the graphics being teh same... that is not the problem of the fifa...and since last year we all agreed about leaving the graphics aside (already good graphics) and start to work in the gameplay.

It seems that the EA team realized this and started to work from the euro gameplay and leaved the grapics alone.

IMO this is a BIG step forward for the series.... now they can work and spend A LOT of time fixing the gameplay and the interface errors 2004 had because of the lack of time.

they used too much time in the graphic department and experimenting with the new gaeplay engoine.. but this year im sure it can be a different story

load up Fifa 2004 or Fifa 2003, press "Print Screen", then press "Alt+Tab", open Paint and "Paste". Save the image. Do that 30 times, and you got yourself some screenies for FIFA 2005.
