Well I have to make a short film, that goes for something like... 10 minutes, so it isn't long.

The topic I am leaning towards is Horror, so, I was wondering, if anyone has any ideas of what to produce in particularly this genre?

I find it hard to think of something realistic that involves people of my age because my classmates and friends will be actors in the movie...

I have something along the lines of drugs and hallucinations which can be scary and freaky pictures of stuff, but I don't know how to set it out yet, does anyone have any ideas for a horror picture, or something scary and suspenseful?

I don't mean anything involving Texas chainsaw butches, vampires, darkness falls tooth fairies, big ugly monsters or magical charmed curses or any or any stupid sh!t like that, I mean something serious yet freaky, like someone who has hallucinations of a freaky looking person, something like that....

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated because I am stuck right now... even if you have ideas that aren't related to horror that would be great (but nothing like gangs or mobs or anything because I don't have those type of 'actors') :)

I have had thse other thoughs also:

A waynes world type show
A sketch show
A scarey film about drugs etc.

(thats all so far, we have only had the project for one day)

So any suggestions?

A mock-documentry sort of like:
The Office, Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show etc...

I would do the drugs film combined with the horror, the characters having freaky visions and hallucinations etc. You could play around with mad effects and really make the story to absolutely weird and not make any sense, as if the people watching took drugs themselves or something like that.

haha thats a pretty good idea, no one would know what is going on lol....

I don't know what it's like to do drugs though so I would have no idea, but I have read up on effects and stuff like that so I can always just make up crap.

Do a bit of research for the symptons and such or draw your inspiration from movies like "Trainspotting" or "Spun".

Or indeed you could just make up some new drug and go crazy on the possible symptons:D
