Lee Bowyer I am sorry for anything bad I have ever said about you.

He has been amazing of late. 2 goals in 2 games. He looks like he has returned to his regular self. His cofidence has really changed him. He doesn't look passive anymore. He is going after it.

pennington10
13-05-2004, 04:13:AM
I don't want to play in the UEFA Cup. We shouldn't bother with it. Also why is it Dyer, Ameobi, and Bowyer are the only players who seem to care. Robert looked like he wanted to be somewhere else. Utter crap.

Bowyer was great though... top performance again and great goal.. making the best of Shola's crappy crossing ability.

he seemed to care more than players that have been at the club for severall years.

I agree about Bowyer. He has shown show much heart in the past few games. I don't know if it was putting demons behind him or what but he really looked class. I hope we keep him because we need someone with that kind of spirt. I think today could of been the best perforance from the center of the midfield all year from any player.

mentioning a player that doesnt run at all - Anders Svensson. Jeez he was just a joy to watch tonigth. Just posses a football brain on another level compared to the rest that shared the field today.

Some truly brilliant touches all game through.

A good game especially at the end. A couple good goals but in the end Newcastle couldn't beat the Saints so they are UEFA Cup bound....

So, if Newcastle lose, and Bolton win, Bolton will be in Europe.

But if Newcastle draw, they're in, right?

Yea, Bolton would have to win very impressivly if Toon get a draw

as it stands:

4 Liverpool 37 18 59 [Champions League]
-------------------------------
5 Aston Villa 37 6 56 [UEFA Cup]
6 Newcastle 37 12 55 [UEFA Cup]
-------------------------------
7 Bolton 37 -6 53 [Fuck all]

Newcastle's season has been a roller coaster ride. Unfortunately this roller coaster de-railed on the last lap.

We are a shambles. To get anywhere near the top 4 next season we're going to need investment. We need a new center back, holding mid-fielder and a new center forward. The thing is Shepherd reckons he hasn't got much money, well in my opinion its time for regime change one way or another.
As for Sir Bobby there’s going to be a lot of speculation about his job, i wouldn’t be surprised if he calls it a day before next season.

Still bet you'd kill for a European semi-final. Small and unnatractive? Nope, there's just a massive gulf between the first team and the reserves. Trust me, if Wes Brown was in Titus' position, he'd bury it (H)

Gimp.
