It doesn't always work that way as you say, that getting many foreign players equals success. Bayern Munich made the final last season with mostly German players in the squad.
I don't mind if teams get foreign players at all, but still think it would be better for all leagues and teams if there were some guidelines on how many foreign players could play at any one time for a team(I think about 5 would b the right number).

All the people out there complaining that there are too many foreigners in Italy or England should wake up!! This is not hurting anyone!! Welcome to the 21st century where things like national clubs are gone!!

Players like Pirlo Ventola Totti etc are great young players but who wants to see some young Italian player from the C2 divison playing because Lazio can't field Nedved, Veron, Salas. I say that leagues should get the best players possible if they want to be respected as the best league.

Teams like Aston Villa, how are they suppose to make it anywhere in international competitions when 90% of their team are English??

The reason that Italy and Spain are such strong leagues is that they have always brought in South American players to do the work that European players are not able to do because they are unable to do tactical work.

The Italian league has plenty of great Italian players Del Piero, Totti, Vieri, Nesta, Buffon etc. This is not hurting their league at all!

How good are the Argentina and Brazilian leagues?? Pele even said they are supermarkets for Large European clubs! Yet they have 2 of the best international squads in the world.

If England, Scotland and other countries wanna have the respect of the Italian and Spanish league they better start getting more South Americans and other Europeans because their boys cant cut it!

Barca is Ajax 2, and Chelsea is a foreign team in the premier league.
