I just read in a thread started by Kimmer that Ea will put in a DNA option in FIFA 2005. It says that people will have the option of just giving the code to people to update rosters, I want to start this thread in hopes that this option will be put in the game, and traded between the members of SoccerGaming just a suggestion

When creating a player, you can tweak his looks using a myriad of options, and it's amazing how close you can get to making him look like the real thing. On the bottom of the player creation screen, there is a long code called EA DNA. Once you've created the player, you can save the code and distribute it however you wish. EA is hoping that local fan newspapers and websites will give out codes for any new player that joins their home team, so fans can simply plug in the code and start playing with him. This will help keep the game fresh for a long time.

thats cool and people can make faces for players that have generic faces and then post the EA code on the site

this also means that there will be a "creationCentre" inn-game.

i think this new feature will truly reflect "creation". i hope the range of things which can be changed in a player is large enough to be undescribable... the more the better.

They say its like the creation center in Tiger Woods 2004 which you can mold your own faces, body, etc...

So when the game comes out i'm looking for everybody to have their club squads up to date as much as possible

They did say there taking it from Tiger woods and in that game you could morph many parts of the face... I know in the WWE Smackdown Series (Shut your mouth, and Here comes the pain) you could morph many parts of the body the face (eyes, mouth, nose, cheecks, chin) and the body (arms, legs, chest etc..) So If EA could atlast let you morph the face that would be awesome.

But in regards of the DNA, I know in The Smackdown series also
were going to use a simular system but dropped it because of it not working so well, but of course creating a wrestler had alot more stuff to take in account (cloths etc..) but with Fifia its more like faces and body shape. So I think if they could pull it off it would be pretty sweet, and deff something that I havent really seen in anyother game yet so thats deff a plus and sometihng revolutionary in my opinion, with DNA you will be able t create your favorite player in no time...

would you be able to change the hairstyle of a play who has a specific face? like if Solari shaves his head, would i be able to do the same in the game? and this is just for argument's sake- i wouldn't really do it.

that all depends whether or not you can edit existing players. Most likely you would be able to.

This should satisfy the millions of Beckham fans who want to keep up to date on his recent hairdo.:crazyboy:

The only problem I have with these deep customization engines is that more often than not you get something ugly in the end. A lot of the characters in Tiger Woods 2004 look awful. If they get the technology to the point where one can get very close to custom-made faces by just using sliders I will be very impressed.
