PolishPower 24-06-2000, 03:17:AM I suggest you ask Zambrotta, if you're nice he might tell you... celtic fc 24-06-2000, 04:53:AM Italy is known for defensive football 10-0-0 http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/tongue.gif Zambrotta 24-06-2000, 07:57:AM Hard to say. Zoff plays to system Ancelotti plays at Juventus, and all you can say is that this means: 3 central backs 2 wings 2 defensive midfielders 1 offensive midfielder 1 supporting striker 1 (center)forward Depending on who the wings are and how they play (Zambrotta and di Livio can play back) it is something between a 5-3-2 and a real 3-5-2. With Totti on the field, you can even call it a 4 player midfield sometimes, so it's between a 5-4-1 and a 3-6-1 (as vs. Turkey). Against Sweden it particularly sucked, as they played with 8 more or less defensive elements. Negro played "right midfield" in the 2nd half... I'd prefer a clear cut 3-5-2 without "midfielders" like Pessotto and move Fiore for Albertini with Totti taking Fiore's place leaving space for del Piero as supporting striker. With that cast even Inzaghi should score sometimes... |
