$teauA 25-05-2004, 02:38:AM It started today and already a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge upset Agassi lost to Haehnel (who?) 6-4 7-6 6-3 not even a set that's sad I want Andre to win one more grand slam before he retires.
Number 22 ATP Andrei Pavel (Romanian dude) won in the first round but the other guy retired. Pavel had won the first set 6-2 :crazyboy: whatever as long as he advances.
IceBlu 25-05-2004, 03:04:AM :kader: damnit. :(:(:(
manutd4eva 25-05-2004, 07:49:AM :(
chatterbox 25-05-2004, 08:00:AM Agassi is waaaaay past it....quit now cause you ain' t goina win another grand slam.......for my money he should have quit after losing to Sampras at the US Open in 2002
Andrew 25-05-2004, 05:39:PM Moya or Ferrero will win this in my eyes :)(Y)
Unlucky Agassi but trust me SteauA, he will win one more Grand Slam before he retires. Andre is a true Legend :rockman:
KoreaJjang 25-05-2004, 06:00:PM I'll go for Paradon or Lee Hyung Taik as their both asians...but have my money on Moya and Federer
Spurs4Life 25-05-2004, 06:52:PM Did Henman win yesterday?
Hendrik 25-05-2004, 07:37:PM Yeah, in 5 sets.
$teauA 26-05-2004, 10:32:AM Both Serena and Venus won today, also Navratolova made her return to singles tennis ( ) and she got wooped, what the hell was she thinking what is she like 64?
ps: Victor Hanescu the other Romanian dude won in the first round as well :clapwap:

Some people just dont know when to stop.:nape:
Gustavo Kuerten beat Federer! OMFG! It's happening! I'm 100% he's capable of winning Roland Garros again. His next opponent will be Feliciano Lopez. It'll be a tough game but i think Guga can win it.
IceBlu 31-05-2004, 05:16:AM come on GUGA ! hes won it 3 times already i think ?
Gustavo :rockman:
Yes. I remember saying back then when he won the 3rd one that he would be Penta before our NT. God i was so wrong.:crazyboy:
PhiLLer 31-05-2004, 06:42:AM I was rooting for Federer (being half swiss myself), too bad he lost:(
Spurs4Life 31-05-2004, 06:46:AM Henman won today in 5 sets, in the quarter final for the first time :D :lui:
Second time he comes back from 2 sets down.
:rockman: 4 Argentines Left. :rockman:
:rockman: Guillermo Coria :rockman: Juan Ignacio Chela :rockman: David Nalbandian :rockman: Gaston Gaudio :rockman:
PaPaGeorGeo 31-05-2004, 02:26:PM Yeh cos hes from Adelaide
KoreaJjang 31-05-2004, 02:35:PM NNOOOO I bet $30 on Ferrero and Federer....DAMN IT!!
All the good player is out...I'll go for Nalbandian now...
$teauA 01-06-2004, 07:32:AM Even though most of the big names on the men's side are out there will still be some nice matchups.
Men's Quarters:
Gustavo Kuerten (28) vs. David Nalbandian (8)
Gaston Gaudio vs. Lleyton Hewitt (12)
Carlos Moya (5) vs. Guillermo Coria (3)
Tim Henman (9) vs. Juan Ignacio Chela (22)
I think it will be Kuerten vs. Moya in the final and Guga to win it all...again :rockman:
On the women's side other than both of the Belgians missing (one because she never even entered the tournament and the other because she lost in the 2nd round) it will pretty much the be the same girls playing.
Women's Quarters:
Paola Suarez (14) vs. Maria Sharapova (18)
Amelie Mauresmo (3) vs. Elena Dementieva (9)
Anastasia Myskina (6) vs. Venus Williams (4)
Jennifer Capriati (7) vs. Serena Williams (2)
The Williams sisters won't meet in the final so that's good because they never play an entertaining one but I think that they will meet in a semi final and Serena will win it and go on to the final where she will play the lesbo Mauresmo and beat her right in front of her own crowd :rockman: :rockman:.
Bobby 01-06-2004, 07:47:AM Sharapova to win (H)
Bobby 01-06-2004, 08:25:PM Sharapova lost :(
crap
fender 01-06-2004, 10:58:PM Myskina won. :D :rockman:
Now hopefully Dementieva does so too when the match resumes. :p
Edit: Dementieva won. :D

fender 03-06-2004, 11:36:PM Ladies singles final: Dementieva vs Myskina :p
This final is going to be easy on the eye. ;) I want Dementieva to win but i think Myskina will win instead.

I was thinking how funny and ironic it would be if on Henman's least favoured service (clay) and least favoured grand slam, would actually give him his first and maybe last grand slam title, strange world. :funny:

I am doing the ESPN Real Time thing
Henaman won the first set and Coria won the second set. 5-0 up in the third. :rockman:
EDIT: Coria won second set 6-0 :o, 3-2 Coria leadingon Serve in the 4th.
Come On Coria:rockman:
Spurs4Life 04-06-2004, 11:25:PM Henman broke back, 3-2, Henman on serve, come on Tim!!, beat the drug cheating arrogant twat :rockman: :hump:

I edited it anyway. Sorry but I just blew up. It's just that Coria is clean and a class guy.
He deserves to win. and it pisses me off if you try to take that away from him. :kader:

No, the evening standard and Daily Mail actually. It's also a known fact he has failed drugs tests, so case closed. Or maybe not if u wanna throw another insult in.
Spurs4Life 04-06-2004, 11:58:PM Match over. Unlucky Tim ,u played well against a 1 dimensional clay courter, hopefully u get him at Wimbledon...if he even gets past the first round :p . Anyway congrats to Coria, he will probably win it now.

$teauA 05-06-2004, 01:08:AM Wow there's gonna be some boring off finals this year, I don't care about any of these players.
SnYper 05-06-2004, 05:39:AM All Argentine final!(H) Coria has played great all clay season and has put together some impressive unbeaten streaks.
And to Spurs4Life, that drug comment was really low and shows your class. Your very own British #2(Born & raised in Canada) Greg Rusedski tested positive as well under the same circumstances as Coria. Why don't you mention that before you decide to label someone a "drug cheating arrogant twat"?
Lose with some class.:kader: :kader:
Henman is not a clay court player so I wasn't surprised, he'll have another crack at a grand slam at wimbledon. But Henman isn't very lucky as we saw when he played Ivanisevic. He was rolling along to the title and then the rain came and the momentum shifted.

Ermmmm don't lecture me about class, you don't know me and never well, As for your Greg Rusedski comment, that clearly shows your lack of tennis knowlegde. He was cleared about 2 months ago and got a apology from the ATP for wrongly accusing him, the urine test was mixed up or something like that and they totally proved Rusedski was innocent, so that's why i didn't comment on it. As for lose with class, i congratulated Coria on his win and stated he will probably go on and win the tournament, my comment was said when the match was even and i thought Henman was going to win, so my comment wasn't a sore loser comment seeing as the match was finely balanced. ;)

Losing isn't just the end result. As we saw in your posts your dishing out insults and when RUSI puts you in your place you suggest he receive a yellow card. Your comments were immature andis the kind of stuff that gives English people a bad name.
As for Rusedski, he tested positive for taking a contaminated supplement. The problem was he received it from the ATP itself. When the fact that the ATP contributed to the positive test was revealed they rightfully lifted his ban. So I suggest you read up and get your facts straight before claiming I "lack knowledge".
Because I question your comments I suddenly lack knowledge? If your going to argue, come up with something a little more creative.
BTW, Coria is ranked 3rd in the world for a reason, so expect him to win atleast a round at wimbledon if not more.

Put me in my place?, lol your aving a laugh. As for insults?, i insulted a professional athelete, i didn't insult anyone from SG, so yeh calling comeone on sg a c unt should warrant a yellow card IMO. Rusedski was proven innocent, so your yahoo search engine research don't impress me. My comments imature?, oh because i got hyped up in the middle of a tense match and stated a fact?, please, tell someone that gives a f uck.

Hey it's cool man, atleast you are man enough to say sorry, that shows class. Im sorry too for getting too carried away. yes he is clean now, but i still don't like his attitude much e.g. where he questions every call and screams in opponents faces, but he is a excellent clay courter and no i didn't once take away the win from him, he deserved it and should win tommoz and i hope he does.

Typical newbie now a days (Y)
BTW, just before I end it. Innocent or not, Rusedski consumed a product with nandralone, a banned steroid. There's no argument you can make to deny his positive test.
It isn't even worth writing up a proper reply. All you'll do is deny it and talk sh!t. Last time I waste time replying to you on the subject.

Ohhhh and you are the experienced entrepreneur at posting on forums...sad, get a life.
As for Rusedski once again, i will need to point out the facts, he was proven INNOCENT and got a APOLOGY from the ATP because they admitted that the urine samples were mixed up and he took another test and was clean. If he was found gulity he would of had a 2 year ban and his tennis career would have been over, but after his injury heals he will be back on the ATP circuit. Branding someone guilty when proven innocent is slander and just stupid. So once again stop arguing against facts. Yes im tired of responding to you and this is the last post im wasting on you Mr master poster of SG.
KoreaJjang 05-06-2004, 09:20:PM Anatasia Myskina won women's single french open title after beating Elena Dementieva 6-1 6-2
chatterbox 05-06-2004, 09:53:PM I turned on the TV here at 09:00 a.m. EST in the US and saw them walking out on the court. Then, I did some house work and at around 10:20 turned the TV on again to watch some of the match....BUT BAM, the match was done.....!
They did look good though!:p
fender 06-06-2004, 12:58:AM Myskina deserved to win, Dementieva just didn't play to her potential.

That final sucked ass. It's gonna be hard for tennis to survive without a Sampras vs. Agassi match every year (H). I'm gonna wake up and watch the men's final tomorrow it better be good.
KoreaJjang 06-06-2004, 03:36:PM So True...Sampras and Agassi Match is class(H) always 5 set...
too bad he retired...
now its Coria V Gaudio(i think)...
mojito19 06-06-2004, 08:10:PM Where can i watch the game online?????
plzzzzz:)
$teauA 06-06-2004, 08:57:PM Coria is destroying Gaudio so far, 6-0 in the first and 2-0 in the second. This is an awful final :kader:
Never mind, Gaudio has come on. After losing the second set 6-3 he won the third set 6-4, so they will have a 4th :rockman:
coria can't walk:(
It's going better in de 5th set

wow amazing comeback from Coria actually he is just forcing himself right now because you can tell that he is hurting when he serves, it looks like a little girl serve but it has worked, great 5th set 6-6 gaudio serving, no tiebreak in the 5th set (H) :rockman:
Gaudio won 8-6 in the last set :)
It was a fantastic final:rockman: .
and it was a great tournament
As an Argentinian, I am happy and sad.
I am happy for Gaudio, but it's so sad.
Coria is/was the better player:(
I am so sad for him. Two years coming so ******* close. So damn unlucky. He had the heart os a Champion, barely being able to walk and doing what he could. Damn, it's dissapointing. :nape:
fender 07-06-2004, 12:45:AM Nice final, thought it was done and dusted after the first two sets but i'm glad Gaudio came back and won.
