Seeing as your our resident expert http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif, I thought I'd ask you a few questions.

How long (in general) is it before the FA fire Keegan and look for a new national manager? He failed to qualify for Euro 2000 and just drew with Finland in the WC 2002 Qualification Round. The ass computer Keegan even started Chris Sutton!

Also, what do you think of this squad I have built as the manager of Parma....

GK: G. Buffon
DL: P. Vanoli
DR: S. Lassissi
DC: M. Quadrini (Italian U21 Intl.)
DC: L. Thuram
DMC: D. Baggio/J. Pollock (picked him up from Man City for cheap...best buy)
ML: Amoroso (just had a hat trick for Brazil)
MR. A. Ortega
AMC: M. Stanic/A. Aguinaga
FC: H. Crespo
FC: O. Solskjaer/A. Sigporsson (excellent recommendation)

I have been their manager for three years and have not yet beaten Inter/Juventus to the Seria A championship, but I have won one league cup. I also made it to the Champions League semi-final, and was runner up in Seria A this year.

Any help or input you could give me would be welcome. (BTW, I know how to CHEAT and become England manager....but thats no fun http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif)

Keegan getting fired is always a little unpredictable - one game he failed to make Euro 2000 but kept his job, another game I played England got humiliated 4-0 by Belgium in the Euro 2000 Quarter Finals and he got fired - if he's getting bad results across the board expect him to be fired soon.

In my experience, Serie A is the hardest league in the game. In my experience Michael Duff is one of the best right wingers in the game, and he's doing the business for me at Roma right now. You're correct Sigporsson is incredible, try to pair him with Javier Saviola - Javier is simply incredible in my game (but he won't come to my team http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/frown.gif ). David Collins is another goal machine as is Peter Madsen both did the business for me when I was at Celtic. In the midfield, Joe Cole and Kim Kallstrom have done the business for me - Tonton Moukoko is another player who is excellent, but he varies from game to game. What year are you in? I'm somewhere around 2010 so a lot of the good young players in my game are now computer generated.
Tell me what year you're in and I can help you with finding some players.

As for not beating Juve and Inter - you have to be on your toes in Serie A - took me a season to adjust and I got close to being fired. I feel that a defensive counter attacking 4-5-1, with Cole in the centre and strong, fast, wingers with good passing, tackling and crossing do the job for me - I've won Serie A and the Champions League two years on the trot now after leaving Celtic.

Let me know what year you're in.

I'm in the 2002/2003 season. I just checked my job info and I'm very close to getting fired!! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/frown.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/frown.gif

If I go then I'm taking Sigporsson with me. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

I've recently been monitoring the progress of Luciano Galletti (19) in my reserves at Parma. He had two 10s in a row. How's he doing in 2010?

(I feel like a fortune teller http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif )

Luciano Galletti - bloody good. In the 2010/11 season he's had 62 caps for Argentina with 35 goals. In 2004/2005 season he moved from Parma to Lazio for.....19 MILLION! Quick stats:

2006/7 - 45 gms/29gls
2007/8 - 35 gms/13gls
2008/9 - 36 gms/27gls
2009/10 - 49gms/33gls
and so far this season he has 11 goals in 16 games (he's 30 yrs old). I didn't write them down, but he doesn't have many assists - but he's averaged over 8.00 every year - seems like a VERY good buy - get him b4 the price goes up. BUT! If you're going to get fired don't get him - you don't want the damn board to profit from you even after you've gone http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif Trust me I know how painful that can be when you get fired and a youngster you got for them becomes a superstar.

I am in my 27th season with.... Flixton, a Manchester side.

I am in Premiership right now,

Before, 1999 to 2010 I have been with Rushden and Diamonds, but got fired sometimes in the premiership for nothing (I finished 4th in my 9th season, and then 16th in my 10th. That's why)

Why don't you try to play with outsider teams? The fun of managment games is when you build a sh!tty team to a world class soccer club.

I do not have fun playing now in the Premiership, thinking about taking another conference team http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

Oh my!

I own him right now! He is a 19 year old prodigy who I thought I would just test out.

So he turns into a footie-god evidently.... http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

But I think I'm gonna get fired! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/frown.gif

I think I'm gonna buy some crappy player from the team I'm going to go to and then put Luciano in the player/money trade.

Crafty eh? http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

I will give him the Earth, Wind, Moon, and Stars if he can give me 11 goals in 16 games.
