hey guys. I don't know if the site is overloaded with people trying to download the patch, but I can't get thru to download it. Is the link corrupt or something or is it just clogged with too many people downloading at one time?? Just wondering..

Ea should have anticipated this and set up more servers for more pple to d/l the patches.........

You can get the patch from the official site. You just need to be persistent and use a proper FTP client, not a Web browser.

It is slowwww though! It took 20 minutes to dowload 2 Meg on a T1 connection! I guess it must be all the people downloading the 90 meg English commentary.

HagiRulez why do you say ea sports doesn't care about football?! What's wrong with you?!
If anything they do care because they finally gave their clients what they wanted and that was the UK commentary and a patch

I downloaded the patch yesterday (completely)
but it doesn't work ....

2MB patch does not get past setup before returning to desktop. No visible changes to Fifa 2000? Shirt numbers still poor with 3DFX, rosters not updated, no kit changes at all. What is going on here then?

Are you nuts? a patch wow im supposed to thank EA now, they can stuff it! What about all the people that got the playstation version, how much good the patch does them? nothing! Unless they are now going to replace my disk(if they will just give me the money back thats ok too, they can keep their game) I will never buy another game from EA.

What changes are there? I see NO changes in the rosters, e.g. no silvesrtre in manU, no extension in subst. lists or reserv. lists. No 3 new players inter signed recently.

can any1 tell me specifically where the changes are? thx.
