Yes, Schmeichel is playing in Sporting.
(I don't know why they call it Sporting Lisbon, the name is Sporting Club Portugal)

The team is currently the 2nd in the Portuguese League. However he hasn't played all games since he has suffered some injuries.

In a couple of days Sporting will play with Benfica in Estádio da Luz, we expect a big game! Once again, Schmeichel is injured, and we don't know if he will recover in time or not.

We haven't heard a thing about Paris.

Anyway, when he plays, he PLAYS!

Manchester isn't the same without him!

For sure Manchester is no longer the same. What did they have in mind when they gave the jersey number 1 to that australian? Bosnich is terrible......

Bosnich ouch sometimes wonderful sometimes
i liked taibi, but i dont think he'll ever settle down but what a game he had against liverpool
van der gouw should be uniteds number one even though he is i think 37

Now, now, Bosnich ain't that bad. He's really pretty good. Granted, no one can (or will ever) fill Schmeichel's shoes, but I think Bosnich is a fine substitute...

Why did they even let Schmeichel go? Even at his age, he's one of the best in the world...

Yes I am a Manchester United fan.
I didn't hear about him going to Paris!
Thanks for telling me that Schmeichel still plays for Sporting Lisbon people.
Manchester United isn't the same with out "The Great Dane" as I and many others call him.
Mark Bosnich is good on his day, so is Taibi but unfortunately Taibi's day is a rare event, he was a rip off.
Raimond van der Gouw is good but he's getting old, yet that didn't stop Peter Schmeichel did it?

I think I heard Schmeichel is going to retire after World Cup 2002.

Considering Denmark's (and his) latest performances, I don't see why...

btw, I want to remind you Schmeichel's performances last year. His 98-99 season debut was a disaster (Taibi?) - does this mean anything?
