View Full Version : [R] Scotland v Trinidad & Tobago [R]
Latest score is Scotland 4 v 0 Trinidad & Tobago after 35 minutes
I thought Trinidad & Tobago must be ranked about 200th in the world but they're actually 75th, just 12 behind Scotland.
Not bad when you can beat 2 countries at the same time. I think Scotland would be scoring even more if Tobago weren't playing too.
Good ole Berti, what a genius
jackie4 30-05-2004, 08:56:PM Half time and I'm stunned. Not by how good we've been but by how terrible T&T are.
I hadn't realised that these guys playing in Britain were from T&T -
Stern John, Shaka Hislop, Marvin Andrews, Brent Sancho, Jason Scotland & Collin Samuel.
Some good players although I don't think they're all playing today.
soccerbest 30-05-2004, 09:07:PM Fletcher played well, scored a goal and assist 2 other Scotland goals. :rockman:
Jambo Den 30-05-2004, 10:06:PM STERN JOHN!!!!!

Yeah, they're big boys now. They can take on other two-country teams, like St. Kitts and Nevins and Serbia and Montenegro.
AberdeenFC 30-05-2004, 11:02:PM oh my god T&T are so crap :|
gary caldwells goal backs that up!
crawford was absolutly pish! guess he'll be signing for us then! :(
but a wins a win, if scotland kept trying in the second have it could have been about 10! up ye charlie (H)
VanTheMan 30-05-2004, 11:25:PM Fletcher had a wonderfull game.2 brilliant assists and a goal.
i keep feeling more and more confident about him.a star in the making!:rockman:
TheBizkit03 30-05-2004, 11:45:PM looking good for us scots, might not be a good team, but scotland need to take their chances infront of goal, and they did that 2day, even though crawford fluffed 3? good ones
Bobby 31-05-2004, 01:16:AM Gordon for Scotland (H)
manutd4eva 31-05-2004, 02:31:AM haha Trinis suck!:D
Giggs Rox !! 31-05-2004, 03:43:PM Darren Fletcher :jacko:
AberdeenFC 31-05-2004, 07:28:PM hmm, i think if we are full strength for next season we'll be awright. the home games against slovenia and norway are MUST win games!! if we can get 3 points at home against everyone then atleast a point against italy at home i think we might do it (get 2nd!) then we'll atleast draws away to slovenia & norway and beat the rest. italy away is basically a loss so care :| im nae sure what our best team is, ide go for
Douglas/Gordon
Mcnamara - mackay - elvis - naysmith
fletcher - holt - ferguson - pearson
mcfadden - thompson
i think elvis and mackay are lookin good at the back together, have pearson making is usually runs forward and ferguson just sprayin the passes about. i was goin to put dailly where holty is but dailly is actually mince in midfield unless the opposition have an attacking midfielder playin in the hole like ballack or kluivert (who arnae bad!) then ide have fletcher just all over the place what a legend, obviosly mcfadden would just be all over the place too and thompson the big beefer could just hold it up.
its the recipe for victory, BRING ON ITALY!!
Jambo Den 31-05-2004, 10:17:PM I say for the qualifiers:
Douglas/Gordon
McMamara - Mackay - Elvis - Naysmith
Quashie - Fletcher - Barry/Holt - Pearson
McFadden - Gallagher
Have a good balance there, and it's about as balanced a side as we can put out just now. Right Mid is a problem though! But you got quality from Fletch in midfield and all are runners who are capable of sticking the ball in the net in midfield and will also do a good shift defending. Berti seems set on Elvis and Malky and I can't really complain. A lot can change though!
Blackburn's Paul Gallacher is a player I really rate too, get him in the qualifiers and I think him and Faddy can be ace!
jackie4 01-06-2004, 05:16:AM I'm surprised Paul Devlin has slipped out of the picture.
Is he injured? The guy did ok I thought!
AberdeenFC 02-06-2004, 03:57:AM he retired from international fitbaw. yeah i thought he was alrite aswell and he had a great cross. you'll all be happy to know i led scotland to euro 2004 on champ man (H) with anderson and mcguire in centrel defense ;)
