Porto midfielder Costinha has joined teammate Deco in expressing a desire to follow Jose Mourinho to Chelsea.
Champions League-winning coach Mourinho is expected to be named as Claudio Ranieri's successor next week and Costinha is hoping to be one of his first signings.

He told the News of the World: I still have two years left on my contract at Porto but of course I'd love to go with Mourinho.

'I know if I go I will have more success. My agent is taking care of it and I know there will be developments over the next few days.'

Porto playmaker Deco was yesterday quoted in The Sun as saying: 'Of course I'd like to go to Chelsea as he's a coach I know well. He's won everything here and now has other ambitions.

'I've a preference for the English league because of the way the play.' (soccernet.com)

so Chelsea is going to buy Mourinho, Deco, Paolo Ferreira and Costinha? maybe it would be more easy to buy FC Porto at once?

I don't have any doubts that Abramovich could afford it :p

Mourinho will do what Wenger and Houllier done (bring in talent from there own country), so the Chelsea team will be full of Portuguese players before long, which will cripple the chances of English players playing for the team :kader:

Haha, its getting beyond a joke how many players Chelsea have been linked with or are planning on buying. They have enough as it is.

Mourinho is not Chelsea's coach yet. Besides players, which were brought by Houllier were not talented:D

LOL, Costinha is better then Makalele in all things...Makalele is very bad in the header.
And Costinha there is world class!
It is a pity that he will leave Porto, too.

not as much strenght and power as Makelele but equal or better in all other aspects.

Mourinho has said that he likes Makelele though.

Let's see how will the Chelsea midfield look next season.

Maybe Mourinho going to Chelsea and him wanting Costinha and Deco will mean that Veron will actually come to Inter after all...

I don't know if I should celebrate or be pissed off:confused:

I see many Portuguese players making their international debuts next season. (H)

Costinha was a starter in Monaco before Porto bought him.

? Costinha, Deco, and Ferreira have already been capped? :crazyboy:

Anyways, there's already doubts that Chelsea have even offered Mourinho anything, so let's wait until that's cleared up THEN focus on everything else regarding Porto players to Chelsea.
