View Full Version : Who will be cut from CHelsea

Soccer_Fan09

Will Morinho's arruival at Chelsea, he has stated that his ideal squad for next season is 25 with 4 of them being goal tenders. This would mean that their would have to be many releases from CHelsea and this is who I believe it should be

Goal Keepers
Jugen Macho
Neil Sullivan

Defence
Mario Melchiot
Winston Bogarde

Midfeild
Alexei Smerton
Joe Cole
Mario Stanic
Emmanuel Petit
Veron
Zendon
Gronkaer

Forward
Oliveira
Mutu
Crespo

That would mean the squad that remains at this moment would be

Goalie
Cudocini
Cech
Ambrosio
Pidgeley (LOAN)

Defense
Johnson
Babayaro
Gallas
Terry
Bridge
Huth
Desailly

Midfield
Robben
Makelele
Lampard
Duff
Geremi
Parker

Strikers
Oliveira
Hasselbaink
Gudjohnson
Cole (maybe loan spell)

This would give Morinho to buy 4 players, wut do u guys think

Bobby

Cole is defenitly on loan at Charlton next season, without a recall clause.

Part of the Scott Parker deal.

you never even seen him play so what do you know, ask any Portsmouth fan he will tell you how good he is. One time I was watching he over ran the whole field 2x the distance Henry usually runs, the EPL defenders didn't even know what hit them, what about that game agaist Arsenal, Henry couldn't shake him off. The tackles, the perfect passes, he is world class. I am not even talking about when he plays for Russia where he knows all the players for over 5 years. Just cause you don't know sh*t about the player doesn't mean he sucks. Abromovich didn't buy him because he is Russian, he bought him because he is good.

yeh smertin aint much special, mourinho wants ferrira (rightback) deco (attacking mid) and morientes (striker) which i think are good exciting buys although im scared tht cudicini will not b first choice and will fall behind cech, but as cudicini is a class keeper, i think hell still be first choice keeper in a year.

Oliviera won't be leaving.

The 21 outfield players Mourinho wants are for the first team squad only. Reserve and youth players like Oliviera, Nicolas, Pidgeley etc will carry on playing in the reserves and are not part of the 21.

They will be brought in for games if they are needed to add to the first team because of injuries/suspensions etc.

It is not that they didn't show up, the two centers Onopko and Ignashevitch are injured so Smertin will have to fall back. I think he will do great because he is consistent and class when he plays for Russia.

I still think Chelsea will hold on to him, he is the best replacement for Makalele or they can play together in a 4-2-3-1.

I didn't mean they suck they are good forwards but not good enough because they can't provide consistency, with the money Abromovich has he should sell these idiots and buy strikers which are 10 times as good for example Shevchenko, Ronaldo, van Nistelrooy etc and no one gives a f*ck how good that blonde was 50 years ago we are talking about now based on last seasons performance.

Have to agree with you there $teauA, as in all the games I saw him play in last season, he looked like a player out of position. He would try to play off the shoulder of the central defender but was usually out muscled to the ball. He looked so much better on the rare occasions he dropped off the defender, came deeper to recieve the ball and then ran at them before slipping in a through ball to the other striker.

I really do hope we keep him this summer and I hope Mourinho plays him as an AM, as I'm sure we'll see the real Mutu...the one that's world class.
