While I think it would have been better to keep the money and use it to buy 2 or 3 more players, especially a left back (Bixente Lizarazu or Christian Ziege would do nicely), the addition of Heskey is great (although its subject to a medical as I write this). When Fowler and Owen come back to full fitness Liverpool will have three of the best (if not THE best)English strikers under 25 right now.
And at 11 million pounds he's still cheaper than Dwight Yorke.
