I am looking for the easiest/best way to make an image of the WE7i CD, so i can play the game w/o the CD being in rom..

well actually i have a legit copy of we7i.... im just not very happy about putting cd's in and out to play certain games so I just wanted to limit myself from doing this and perhaps imrpove some performance

NO backup discussion. PM to give u a forum about legal backup. Or if moderators allow i will post it here.

just get a crack no-cd... its the easiest way to play it without the cd... or download the wolf patch 3.0 which come with the crack.

PS. @gianpan backup doesn't mean warez, d'you have original game/Cd audio/DVD movie? you can make a backup copy (sometimes it's even desirable to prevent original CD from mechanical damages)

You have to make a back-up for the PS2 anyway to patch it so I don't see the problem

so can i ask how to backup a game protected with securom 5?

burn an image in your harddisk using nero and use nero image drive to play the game wqithout cd-rom in rom.
