View Full Version : Sportscenter new look $teauA 08-06-2004, 10:29:AM I think it's awesome (Y) SRB 08-06-2004, 10:36:AM i like it pennington10 08-06-2004, 10:47:PM God damn it they changed it again. I like the 1998-1999 look when Kenny Mayne and Charley Stenier would so Sportscenter. That was the best. They would do the full screen scoreboard too so you could actually see more than two players stats. Now they have that retard Kevin Fraiser and Sacramento's own Dana "tubbs" Jacobson doing Sportscenter it is rubbish. If it wasn't for Around the Horn or PTI I wouldn't have much use for ESPN or their World Series of Poker marathons anymore. gian 08-06-2004, 11:34:PM Yeah it's cool Avalanche 09-06-2004, 01:44:AM :care: Its just the same old sh*t on the show anyway. 60% NFL (more during the season) 20% NBA 10% MLB 10% whatever is in season, as long as it isn't soccer. I gave up on Sportscenter when Keith Olbermann quit. Rochester Rhino 09-06-2004, 02:13:AM yeah, it looks like it was done with someone who has good knowledge in graphics Hyun 09-06-2004, 04:06:AM i dont like it... too much damn colors. am i the only one nonconforming? :( $teauA 09-06-2004, 04:15:AM Since we are talking about espn in here, kinda, zach dude from dream job is the new host of around the horn :rockman: :rockman: he is awesome but no max kelerman :(, better than stat boy :D pennington10 09-06-2004, 06:10:AM No he is just there for the day. Reali will be back tommorow. I think Reali does a good job I mean he is no Kellermen but he is okay. I, Max is pretty good too. Kellerman stole Holley and the disembodied voice for his show. As for the new look well it looks like **** when you don't have HDTV. It is like looking at a 3D movie without the 3D glasses. Voltaic Borusse 09-06-2004, 07:15:AM Haven't seen the new look yet. $teauA 09-06-2004, 10:15:AM Originally posted by pennington10 No he is just there for the day. Reali will be back tommorow. I think I, Max is a piece of crap :(. pennington10 09-06-2004, 11:21:AM No I thought Zac sucked. I can't stand that man. The thing about I,Max is you have to watch a couple of times atleast that is what did it for me. The first time I watched I thought it was bad but the more I watched the more I like it. Though the whole ME VR thing I thought was lame. They should just call it a mute button. $teauA 09-06-2004, 11:49:AM Originally posted by pennington10 No I thought Zac sucked. I can't stand that man. Though the whole ME VR thing I thought was lame. They should just call it a mute button. It's like a cheap ripoff of Around the Horn :(. The only show that I like on Fox Sports Net is The Best Damn Sports Show Period, the rest are crap. Avalanche 09-06-2004, 08:29:PM I think they should have cancelled "Around the Horn" the day when Kellerman quit ESPN. The show has lost its magic now that Stat Boy is hosting. That show will be replaced by yet another "World Series of Poker" rerun by the end of the year. As for "I, Max", the less said the better. EDIT: Where I live, there is a show on public access called "It's A Sports Show". If you ever wanted to see a blatant rip-off of "Around the Horn" and "PTI", then its your one-stop shop for that. pennington10 10-06-2004, 12:24:AM The Best Damn Sports Show was good when it had Tom Arnold and John Kruk yelling about how White trash the other one was but now I can't even stand to watch it. RUSI 10-06-2004, 12:38:AM I liked trhe last one better because it had a pole to swing down from :crazyboy: |
