How come we never see these in EA games series. Handballs are a reality in football. Wouldn't hurt to see players in physical confrontation too especially for the rival or derby games which are always heated.

Cuz EA sports ism't that good in realism, and i believe they already said that it wouldn't be in FIFA 2005 too. So you'll have to wait a coupe of years for hanballs.

right now it would be random, and it would end up being one more things that piss people off about fifa games cause they wouldnt get it right.

this is secondary... look at PES3... they had to correct the handballs for WE7I cause it was exagerated...

the only thing in PES3 which always pissed me of was just that annoying handball
for random and not random handplay - we say definitely NO.

If you ask EA to put handball in, Your asking them to stuff up the game...More so. Get the gameplay right before you start doing all the little worthless stuff.

I wouldn't like to have a feature in the game that would penalize me without it even being my fault, if it were a result of a poor tackle or something else that I myself did wrong, then it would be ok. But EA shouldn't get ahead of itself here there are bigger changes needed before they figure out a fair way to do handballs.

that makes sense, we dont want calls like that costing us games

i dont think we'll see handballs on the fifa series until the next gen consoles.. which if rumors are correct xbox 2 should be out next Christmas

I wish software developers would concentrate less on the consoles, and more on state-of-the-art PC versions. Jeez, how long has the Playstation 2 been out for- more than four years- yet FIFA 2005 will be devoloped on it!

I've had my Radeon 9700 Pro since October 2002, and EA still don't make full use of it. That's why I might just skip the latest ATI and NVidia cards- what's the point? As for hand balls, I don't mind them in PES 3 when I play against the CPU, in fact I like random occurances; that's what makes PES 3 so great.
