The Sixers did look convincing,but then again the Pacers didn't have Reggie.I still think the Pacers are going to take the series.(Unless Alan blows up).

They may have the most expensive team in the NBA, but money does not buy Championships ..... team chemistry does .... and no other team has shown that but LA. The best record in the NBA speaks for itself. 'Sides ..... Portland does not have a player like Kobe or Shaq or Rice .... no one on their team who take the ball to the hoop and create his own shot (a la Kobe) .... Lakers in 6.

The only reason why the Lakers are so good is becuase they got money Shaq rice and Kobe non of them got draft by the lakers and look at the sixers our best player was draft by us.

SO?? Its true with every team in the NBA. Most good players are drafted to a team, but then they trade 'em becuase it does not work out (Chris Webber, Jason Kidd, Allan Houston). Rice was traded for Eddie Jones and Elden Campbell .... two players the Lakers drafted. Kobe was traded for Vlade Divac, who was also drafted by LA. So what if LA did not draft them, Jerry West (Pres) brought them together and finally hired a good coach to mold them together.

The same thing could be said about football, a player is nutured through the youth system, finally gets his big chance, but it does not work out, so they transfer him, and he turns into a superstar. It happens.

The sixers are still a young team every season that goes by we just keep getting better, last season the pacers won the serie 4 games to none and this season we we lost 4-2, just wait, in a couple of years we are going to be one of the best team in the NBA.

Lakers are the team that soon will have no competition. In two previus years they got Rice and Bryant. those weren't trades, those were SALES. just like Steve Francis refused to play for Vancouver, so he got traded to Rockets. Or Theo Fleury of Calgary Flames -- got traded to Avs for nothing (Regehr, Corbett).

I hate these 4 teams who are in conference finals right now, but i will root for avs, 'cause my two fav players played there last season.

Hey Russain ...... the Blazers do have the most expensive team in B-Ball .... a payroll of over 64 Million dollars (US). Compare that to 52 Million (US) for LA. Bryant has been in LA for the last FOUR years, and he and Shaq are better than the starting five of Portland put together. (Sabonis, Pippen, Wallace, Stoudimire, and Smith)
