View Full Version : Who's gonna win next season? Your predictions.... a_shearer 26-06-2000, 07:28:PM What are your predictions for..... English Premier League 1. 2. 3. Italian Seria A 1. 2. 3. Spanish Division 1 1. 2. 3. Zambrotta 26-06-2000, 07:32:PM can only speak for the serie a, and it's WAY too early. IF all planned transfers go in, that it COULD be: 1. LAZIO 2. INTER 3. ROMA HNAFC 26-06-2000, 07:33:PM PREMIERSHIP 1.ARSENAL 2.MAN UTD 3.LIVERPOOL SERIA A 1.LAZIO 2.INTER 3.ROMA PRIMERA LIGA (THE MOST UN-PREDICTABLE LEAGUE) Paolo_Rossi 26-06-2000, 08:06:PM I only watch Serie A. 1)Juventus(They may havent done lots of changes ,but they have a better Del Piero and rumors say that they will sign Fiore and buy David Trezeguet) 2)Lazio(I hate them, but i know that they wont have a bad season) 3)Rome(Batistuta) Woody_007 26-06-2000, 09:40:PM Premeirship: 1: Arsenal (if they stay healthy) 2: Liverpool (great team, great coach) 3: Leeds (on the upswing, talented bunch) No ManU becuase: They were lucky this year. No Chelsea because: They suck. No Sunderland because: Only top three teams, not top 4. Serie A: 1: Inter (MMMM ... maybe the return of Vieri and Ronaldo) 2: Lazio (Very talented, possible letdown?) 3: Roma (BatiGOL!!) No Juve becuase: Any team with Del Piero starting deserves to lose. No Milan because: Shevchenko or not, Bierhoff sucks and unless Leonardo returns they have no midfield. Primera Liga: 1: Barca (JUST ADD TALENTED MANAGER, MIX!!) 2: Valencia (If they do not sell Lopez) 3: Deportivo (This year was no fluke) No Real Madrid because: Blind hope Paolo_Rossi 27-06-2000, 01:05:AM Lopez has already been sold to Lazio . Corinthians 27-06-2000, 03:35:PM English Premier League 1. Arsenal 2. Liverpool 3. Manchester United Italian Seria A 1. Inter 2. Roma 3. Lazio Spanish Division 1 1. Real Madrid 2. Deportivo La Coruņa 3. Barcelona And the Brazilian league? 1. Corinthians of course! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/biggrin.gif [This message has been edited by Corinthians (edited 06-27-2000).] Drinky UKSN 27-06-2000, 07:31:PM Division 3: 1. Blackpool 2. Cheltenham 3. Darlington What do you mean, there are other leagues? Pindasoft 27-06-2000, 08:16:PM I am more curious wo will win EURO 2000, the domestic leagues will not be starting before august, so there is no use in predicting the outcome of it. After EURO 2000 there will be a lot of transfers, so the teams are still to be changed. I heard today Inter has closed a deal with my club, FC Utrecht, to stall some reserves during a season to get adjusted to football at the highest level. Is it possible we can get Reboca, Baggio and (if he is well again) Ronaldo for one season? I would love to win the dutch championships for the first time..... http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif Inter09 27-06-2000, 10:06:PM are you mad Pindasoft? Those players would never go to Utrecht. Baggio especially. Recoba and Ronaldo are definitely staying at Inter. boyfrombrazil 27-06-2000, 10:19:PM Oh please. How can you say Man U were lucky last year. (By the way, I AM NOT a Man U supporter). They got 91 points. The next team? 73. That is not luck. Pindasoft 27-06-2000, 11:18:PM I can always ask, cant I? But they probarly will stall one or two youngsters. As long as they are an improvement to FC Utrecht they are always welcome! (and no, not every player is an improvement........) sheva 28-06-2000, 02:05:AM premier league: 1.man utd 2.arsenal 3.liverpool seria a: 1.roma (with batigol) 2.ac milan (with sheva) 3.juventus primera league: 1. real madrid 2. barcelona 3. valencia a_shearer 28-06-2000, 06:16:AM Since I posted the topic I thought I'd share... English Premier League 1. Newcastle (C'mon....it could happen http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif) 2. Arsenal 3. Liverpool 19. Sunderland (Going DOWN!) Italian Seria A 1. Roma 2. Parma 3. Juventus Spanish Division 1 1. Real Madrid 2. Barcelona 3. Valenica Greekfanatic 28-06-2000, 06:41:AM EPL 1)Man U 2)Arsenal 3)Liverpool Serie A 1)Lazio 2)Inter (Go Georgatos!) 3)Roma (or Juventus) PL-? I have no idea. [This message has been edited by Greekfanatic (edited 06-27-2000).] Neutral 28-06-2000, 06:47:AM I think we should wait until the begining of August, when most of the transfers are done before we start picking potential winners. I mean, imagine if Bradford signed Zidane, Vieri, Buffon, Thuram, Carlos, Veron, Maldini and Stam in the next month? They'd have to be considered favourites then http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif Kostas 7 28-06-2000, 07:18:AM OLYMPIAKOS will win the Champions League http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif Ok guys sorry. Just playing around. But I see Inter and Roma as front runners for the scudetto. a_shearer 28-06-2000, 02:51:PM Yeah. We all know Bradford have that super secret 100 billion pounds with which to conquer the footballing world! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif simonius_13 28-06-2000, 03:05:PM England: 1. Liverpool (Their strong line of defence with Henchoz, Hyppia, etc will shine, while Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen will keep the goals coming up front!) 2. Man Utd (Strong midfield and attack and keeper but the defence will hold the team back!) 3. Tottenham (Rebrov partnering Iversen will keep the goals on coming and Ginola will provide lots of assists to the strikers, while SOl Campbell will be the heart of the defence as usual!) Italy: 1. Roma (Batigol and Emerson join Totti, Cafu, etc) 2. Lazio (Another close season but not good enough) 3. Inter (A good season especially at attack but a little inconsistent in other areas of the field) Spain: 1. Real Madrid (best team in europe, they just need more consistency) 2. Barca (usual great performance) 3. Valladoid (Shouji JOU!!!) |
