I got FIFA 2000 yesterday and I think it's really good. I had FIFA 98 and 99 and think that 2000 is better than them both.

Sure it is not the perfect football sim, but it still is a very enjoyable game.

Its a great game.

I used to play Match Day on the speccy so im happy.

Every new game that comes out, forums are packed with moaners. These same moaners still play the game loads so they cant dislike it. When "Team Fortress Classic" came out is was cussed, but now its very popular.

The same will happen with F2k.

I say, i u dont like F2k, dony play it...simple.

I dont like certain games, but i dont bother spending every hour on a forum cussing it.

Yeah..it took some games and i really miss some moves from fifa99..but yet its quite playable...and use the through-pass and shielding to make some nice plays....

In my opinion fifa2k has far better gameplay than fifa99, and in the end that's what the game is all about, not stadiums etc....which you don't really see much of while playing the game, only at halftime...!!

I like the game over fifa99. Still I think EA should have done a lot better job. At least spend the same effort they do on Madden and other. Since the games are same price...

RedRaider...

All IP addresses are now posted in the bottom right corner of all posts, and these all seem to be coming from genuinely different people.

I have decided to keep an open mind about rather than complaining, which I agree I have been one of the most vocal "moaners" in this forum. I have noticed that the players names seem to be mentioned more in a "league" game as opposed to a "friendly." And the graphics and player behavior is much better than RTTWC. But everytime I hear Phil Schoen I just blanche (is that a real word?). I wish EA Sports had a sense of humor and stuck in his dialog the line, "I'm American, I don't have the slightest idea what's going on!" However . . . the virtual abandonment of Central and South American teams and leagues is unconscionable (how ethnocentric), and the decision to give up on real stadia was BAD, BAD, BAD. I believe that all large corporations should have an employee whose sole job is to act like the average buyer and decide whether some decision is stupid or not. "New" Coke? Stupid decision. Pontiac Fiero? Stupid decision. No real stadiums in FIFA2000? Do we really need to answer that?

Hi u all!!
Yeah I like it too. But there is still improvements to be done.
AMATEUR(or how it is spelled in english) and PRO are too simple. But World Class gives me a challange. Something bad is that the opponents wins 80-90% of the heading duells- But don't get me wrong- I really like the game and the homework can wait!! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif
(The ball needs improvments..)

I also have been enjoying the game for a while and with the roster upadate it is even better. I tried the speed patch and on Pro I thought it slowed it down a little too much but I will play it for a while and see if not I will go back to the old way. I also think with the cups in one season and the promotion and relegation it will keep the game fresh.

Thanks and enjoy the game

I also do like the game, but I expected something more than just improved graphics and better ball deflections. EA even made the game worse than 99 in some ways (team line-ups, missing moves).
The best soccer game on the market, but....
EA could so easily have done better!!!
