View Full Version : England win won't matter?
I@n S 17-06-2004, 09:14:PM We'll be kicked out anyway because of morons who aren't real fans, just holigans. Some people say to me its just a media beat up and other contries :drevil: Fans :drevil: as they call them (where i just call them every other name under the sun but Holigans is more fitting for here), are just as bad. Nothing against Germany and Holland. But those two for an example.
Or is it English Holigans are the worst.
Whats your view? Media beat up or not?
Little-Caesar 17-06-2004, 09:15:PM English are not to blame. The hooligans are actually Scottish fans pretending to be English so they can make England look bad.
:kader:
Goo Goo boy 17-06-2004, 09:16:PM Hmm, dont think so..the fans in the stadiums have been fine but the ones in Algarve have been terrible and a shame for England..they just dont know how to drink..
Glorious 17-06-2004, 09:17:PM it will because they will be knocked out of the group :D
I@n S 17-06-2004, 09:17:PM Hmm I remember in France 98. French fans had England shirts on apparently and caused trouble. Police arrested them only to find they didn't speak a word of English
Vinnie Jones 17-06-2004, 09:20:PM I agree with goo goo. The major problem isn´t with the fans near the stadiums. The problem is with the english hooligans in Algarve.
England won´t be kicked out of the euro, the portuguese police is controlling them pretty well. Besides a portuguese minister said that it were only minor incidents. There were no major problems but i would prefer that everything would go on without any incidents. For now the best fans have been the dutch, the danes and sweds. The well behaved english fans that i saw in the Stadium of Light in the England vs France match need to be praised also.
ShearerM4 17-06-2004, 09:22:PM They're the spoken about ... but i wouldn't say they're the worst no.
Spurs4Life 17-06-2004, 09:25:PM Im so glad we have some intelligent people in this forum from other countries that know that those hooligans aren't English fans or a representation of a English citizen. They are just a small minority that go around to cause trouble and put shame and a bad name on our country.
I@n S 17-06-2004, 09:27:PM Makes me sick what people of Portugal must think of us. I thought it was going to be peacefull like WC 2002 because we got along great with the Japanese and others.
England and Portual are old friends.
So these idiots put a real downer on our friendship with Portual. :f***:
Little-Caesar 17-06-2004, 09:28:PM Spurs4Life, I agree with you, mate. They aren't English, but they just happen to speak English, wear England shirts and have British passports. :crazyboy:

Have you got a reading problem?. I said they aren't "English fans", which means they don't care about the football, they are just hooligans looking for a fight. Not once did I say they aint English. I just said they aren't a representation of a English citizen.
Little-Caesar 17-06-2004, 09:32:PM Ok then pal, do you forgive me? :ewan:
Little-Caesar 17-06-2004, 09:34:PM Wait, forget about forgiving me...
or a representation of a English citizen.
I believe they are, my friend.

Well that just about sums up your stupidity and ignorance. That is what a child of five would think. Grow up.

I agree. But judging by this thread, alot of people do actually see that it is only a small minority that cause the trouble and that not all English people are like that. So hopefully a large majority of people in other countries think the same way.

Well the small minority better not get us kicked out.
Goo Goo boy 17-06-2004, 10:11:PM Spanish fans are really great=)
shokz 17-06-2004, 10:38:PM Sometimes I wish I worked for the Portuguese police force, nothing more fun than beating a few hooligans with batons ;)
But seriously, the more I see what happened on Monday + Tuesday morning, the more I fear its going to happen again and we'll eventually get kicked out.
Hendrik 17-06-2004, 10:49:PM Hmm on the hand it's normal that out of 40 000 fans always a few cause trouble and the rest behave well but on the other hand it's every two year the phuking same.
England gets defeated -> fans get pissed -> fans misbehaviour
b-ytter 17-06-2004, 10:53:PM I think everyone shoud now by now that the hooligans have nothing to do with fotball, they are just there for the fight. They would proberly fight if England wins too!
