France striker Trezeguet joins Juventus
MONACO, June 27 (Reuters)(DS) - Monaco striker David Trezeguet
has joined Italian Serie A side Juventus, the French club said
in a statement on Tuesday.
The French champions have signed Burundian striker Shabani
Nonda from Stade Rennes to replace the 22-year-old, who is
currently with the France squad at Euro 2000 in Belgium and the
Netherlands.
Monaco did not reveal the fee paid for either player but
reports say Juventus have paid 160 million francs ($26.5
million) for Trezeguet.
The fee for Nonda, whose transfer depended on Monaco selling
Trezeguet, has been estimated at 130 million francs ($21.5
million).

Does this mean its the wnd of Inzaghi.I doubt that they will bench Trezeguet for that money they spent .

Nonda...dunno but he's probably good why do you think they would sign him to replace their main striker. after all, they know their league.

Why do Juve need Trezeguet?? He won't play as much as he wants to. Del Piero is much better-Inzaghi might not be-but he will get the playing time. And what about Kovacevic?? He is a great "sub", what will he do? I don't understand this move by Juve.

I think that they will get rid of Inzaghi.Theres a lot of rumors stating that he is going to Inter .
There are already rumours that Kluivert is being courted by Juventus. What are they going to do, play a four-forward formation?

Why would they sign Kluivert ?The only theory i have is that they r getting rid of Inzaghi and Kovaecvic .
Brilliant question. But why would they sign Trezeguet if not for the same reason? I don't want to see Kluivert going to Juve, I hope now that they've got Trezeguet they'll abandon trying to get him.

Pippo Inzaghi is not going to Inter. Moratti said they are not interested. They have Vieri, Recoba, Sukur, Ronaldo, Colombo, Robiatti and Zamorano is staying(sadly, they could use the money for a defender). Baggio is the only one likely to go.
