What positions do they play??

I think Cocu and Guardiola are in the defense right?? And Litmanen is a midfielder right??

But I don't think we an afford all of those players. And personally I really want to see Georgatos back. That would be too many none Greek players if they came anyway.

What do u think?

U know I don't understand why we always have to go for a "big" player.I mean look at the line-up we went to the CL Quarter Finals with:

-----------------------Gogic--------------

Djordjevic----------Karapialis----------Giannokopoulos

----------Poursanidis----------Mavrogenidis----

Georgatos----Karataidis----Anatolakis----Amanatidis

------------------Eleftheropoulos-----------

I mean there isn't 1 "big time" player in there except Georgatos. We worked good as a team and thats what counts! Why Change?? Why try to bring in a bunch of big players like Zahovic, when it never ends up working anyway??

Gogic, Alexandris, Karapialis and Karataidis days are comming to an end. We need fresh blood. Georgatos will come back. Konstantinou from Iraklis has been heard of lately and looks very prommising.

First of all to Woody,

It's only roomers.

Now, we don't need Konstantinou,I mean we have a whole lot of firepower up front.Think about it Choutos the best Greek Talent out ther,he is going to light up the the Greek League next year. And along with him Giovanni,a excelent finisher, well u know about him.Thats going to produce a few goals! And lets say one of them go down.....There's the Legend ALEXANDRIS!He still has 3 or 4 years left in him and will be a strong weapon of the bench.

Now in the midfield we need a strong Attacking Midfielder,I heard roomers about Tsartas but I don't think he wants to come.

In defense I agree,Karataidis is getting old and we do need to replace him but the answer isn't to far. It's P.Antzas,he's tall, strong and a good "smart" defender. He can definately fill Karataidis shoes.

And in Goal there's Eleftheropoulos,no worries there.

I'm telling u,all we need is GEORGATOS back!He was the leader a year ago!He is fealing homesick and I know he wants to come back.If he does,WATCH OUT! It's gonna be 5 in a row!!!

OLYMPIAKOS FOREVER!!!

Olympiakos needs a sweeper 'cause Karataidis is too old. We also need a defensive midfielder because Poursanidis is no good for Champions League. If Konstantinou comes it would make great double with Choutos up front and Giovanni can move to attacking midfield.
I would also love to see Georgatos back.

Kostas 7: I have a few friends in Barca .... but they have not said anything about Pep. Rivaldo and Kluivert rumors are abundant, but never Pep. Must be wishfull think from Olympiakos' fans.

Lius Figo, I totaly agree with you. Olymoiakos defence needs some work. If they get stronger there they can be a contender. If Georgatos comes back as he has stated and with the addition of one more striker, preferebly Konstantinou, the will be a force to recon with. I guess that solves the problem of not having to bring in any foreigners.

Well those players comeing to OSFP are just roomers.earlier in the year it was R.Baggio.

Anyway I agree with the defense. And I am really hopeing Georagtos will comeback. But whats all this talk about the Strikers?? We have 2 outstanding strikers in Choutos and Giovanni, and Alexandris as backup. Why do wee need another one?

PS Hey Kosta, what site did u see that on?

First of all you keep mentioning Alexandris. Giovanni is not a pure striker, he is more of a play maker. So that just leeves Choutos. What if something happens to him? Do you really want to have a CL game running on Alexandris back alone as the single striker on the team? Mind you don't expect him to remain with the team either. Bajevic really wants him at PAOK, he also realizes that the years are creeping up on him and with the new competitive blood comming to the port of lions that he won't be able to keep up. He knows he'll play though at PAOK and he'll make the money to. I don't blame him at all if he decides to leave. He helped us win 4 championships in a row, but his time has come. Imagine Choutos and Konstantinou up front with Giovanni making the setups, That will be fun to watch. All the midfeild needs is Georgatos back, and some serious work in the defence needs to be done.
