If there won't be Israeli or Turkish league they should add the first 6 teams of those countries.

More clubs from Copa Libertadores, especially from Argentina and the teams that made the first round of UEFA. Hopefully it will be easier to create leagues and tournaments than in FIFA 2004.

6 teams of turkey is already much, 4 would be ok, about israel why to put 6 clubs when people only know 2 or 3, israeli league have 12 teams, it would be ridiculous to put half of the teams in Rest of the world, so for me should be 2 or 3 from Israel and 4 or 5 of turkey or even the turkish league.

I was playing through FIFA 99 (great soundtrack, not bad gameplay ...... if you like arcade style soccer games) and AEK, Besiktas, Dynamo Kyiv, Lokomostiv, CSKA, Spartak, Hajduk Split were INCLUDED in the rest of the world section.

Why in the blue hell did EA stop including them (fifa 2004 had a very small rest of the world selection)? :kader: :f***:

Assuming that nine of the top 12 leagues in Europe (England, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Portugal, Scotland) will be included in full, the teams I'd be very disappointed not to see in FIFA 2005 are:

Fenerbahce (Turkey), Besiktas (Turkey), Panathinaikos (Greece), Olympiakos (Greece), Banik Ostrava (Czech Rep), Sparta Prague (Czech Rep).

These six teams represent the other three leagues from UEFA's Top 12.

Outside of that, some decent inclusions would be...

The Americas*: Boca Juniors (Argentina), River Plate (Argentina), Colo Colo (Chile), Nacional (Uruguay), Penarol (Uruguay), Caracas FC (Venezuela), Colo Colo (Chile), Cobreloa (Chile), Deportivo Cali (Colombia), Guadalajara (Mexico), UNAM (Mexico), Olimpia (Paraguay)

Eastern Europe: Dynamo Kiev (Ukraine), Lokomotiv Moscow (Russia), Hajduk Split (Croatia), Dinamo Bucharest (Romania), Wisla Krakow (Poland), Maccabi Haifa# (Israel)

Asia/Oceania: Al-Sadd (Qatar), Al-Ain (UAE), Dalian Shide (China), Jubilo Iwata (Japan), Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma (Korea), Perth Glory (Australia)

Africa: Zamalek (Egypt), Esperance (Tunisia), Raja Casablanca (Morocco), Hearts of Oak (Ghana), Enyimba (Nigeria), Kaizer Chiefs (South Africa)

* Excluding MLS and Brazil, since they are always included in full

# Yes, I know where Israel is, but they play in UEFA

If Turkey don't get their own league this year in FIFA 2005, I'd like to see more Turkish teams in the Rest of the World column, such as: [Fenerbahce, Besiktas, Genclerbirligi].

I also want AEK Athens, but that'll probably never happen.

In influencing the decisions for FIFA 2005, these threads probably are useless. Always that slightest chance that an EA rep reads the post and pushes an idea for 2006 though.

But it allows FIFA gamers to express their frustration. Every year I buy FIFA and see the full leagues of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Austria and Switzerland. Yet no Greece, Turkey or Czech Repbulic leagues, which UEFA recognize as being of a higher standard than those previously mentioned.

I assume it's a commercial decision, but how many Scandanavian gamers are there?! And aren't most of them Man U and Liverpool fans anyway?! ;)

There are 70 million Turks, which doesn't include those who've migrated throughout Europe (eg. Germany), yet they can't get their own league in FIFA?! It seems totally wrong when you consider the strength of Turkish football (I'm not suggesting population alone be the criteria, otherwise we'd get the Indian first division in 2006). It makes me wonder if there's a bias against Eastern European football by the FIFA producers.

My hope is that Turkish, Greek and Czech gamers will get their message across to EA.

Every team involved in the champions league, if possible. And basically 1 team from most leagues.

I think it's liscences, but I agree with you all 3 leagues you mentioned are in the top ten of Uefa's ranking of leagues. In my opinion, they should put more focus on such leagues but it would still be nice to see the Scandanavian leagues and others as well.

They don't put all brazilian teams... the league has 24 teams (in two years it'll be 20 tho'), and in the game there are only 16. Well, Atlético Paranaense is there and that's all that matters to me hehe. But it'd be cool to have the rest of the teams too.

I'd like to see some african teams there, like Raja Casablanca and Esperance.

Some teams from asia/oceania would be nice too, like Al Nassr and Wollogong Wolves for example.

Outstanding list, couldn't agree more. To add to this, I would ensure all teams in the second round of the the Champion's League need to be licensed.

Even with minimal representation from all the continents, you could have a World Club Championship, Tournament of the Americas, etc.

I'd say you'll see the Mexican league this year because it will be such a huge windfall for sales in the United States.

I agree totaleeeeeeee with the rhino dude, but to make it simpler...

They could have the Africa Champions League and the Africa Cup of Nations

They definitely need Arab, Aussie and African teams, if for nothing else than to play a World Club Cup with the existing leagues. Ideally you should be able to play leagues there too.

Who cares fifa is horrible, they're gameplay sucks, they decide to put israeli teams, mls teams, k-league teams over turkish, greek, argentinian teams.

Enough said. They don't listen to us, why do we bother posting?

ps: Don't buy the game, download it illegally;)
