Amdy Faye 27-06-2004, 11:38:PM What time's the Copa America gon be on in the Uk? What kinda times will they be playing?
::shinji:: 27-06-2004, 11:44:PM that's the great thing about this sport...there's always something to look forward to. Personally, after Euro2004 I'm looking forward to the Copa America and CONCACAF WC qualifying where I'll be supporting my Canada. We also have all the leagues starting up and scramble for transfers, etc.. always something exiting going on
hanek45 27-06-2004, 11:45:PM yeah, thats kinda happening in the SGE....:(
Yea, Copa America and Athens 2004 should entertain me till the start of the club season.

EDIT: http://www.skysports.com/skysports/article/0,,7-1000426,FF.html
theres all the football we can look forward to..theres a lot! :D
Semi finals of copa america are on at 1:00am  , but rest of the matches are reasonable times.
::shinji:: 27-06-2004, 11:54:PM sucks that Olympic football gets like zero coverage in Canada, for the last few Olympics they've only shown the final and even still it wasn't even the whole game, just bits and pieces between track and field events and snycronized swimming  Anyone know if FSW or something will be showing football matches?
Canada beat Belize on agg 8-0 ? (H)

nah, was thinking about it but a 3 hour drive in the rain to watch Belize didn't seem worth it, so I just watched it on TV. I'll go to some Canada matches when they play in Toronto or against more entertaining opposition

ye, there building the new sports complex on the varsity stadium, should be good ! (H)
::shinji:: 28-06-2004, 12:04:AM Canada should play some games in London, ON they recently built a really nice and modern stadium on the campus of the Univ. of Western Ontario. Way better than the sh!t stadium they played Belize at in Kingston
Well, i've got Brasileirão games, plus i cant wait for Copa América. And the Olimpics (not only football, the overall sports).
chatterbox 28-06-2004, 04:03:AM You can say what was said in the opening post after every World Cup or Euro. Life goes on !
Rochester Rhino 28-06-2004, 04:07:AM i know a lot of you don't care but I have the MLS to watch.
SlayerDeuS 28-06-2004, 04:09:AM We have the Champions World Series in the US, that will be fun to watch. I hope everybody boo's on that jerk Totti.
chatterbox 28-06-2004, 04:11:AM The Olympics and Copa America do not have the quality that EURO or the WORLD Cup do......especially when Brazil goes and rests all their big names for some ****ting reason ! Those tourneys are no fun and I do not consider them to be major ones....they are not as big as the Champions League either!
Punkt 28-06-2004, 04:12:AM Guys don't forget the Asian Cup In China :p

The Copa América is still entertaining. And we rest our big names because they're human, they need to rest and do pre-season with their teams in Europe. I prefer the Euro, the World Cup, and the CL to the Olympics and Copa América, but it's still funny to watch.
And the B squad we've sent is a pretty respectable one. We'll have Adriano, Luis Fabiano, Diego and the likes.
