The 1st one was absolutely useless.

it was GAAAYYY.

I don't even wanna come close to the 2nd one, looks worse than the first one and that's hard.

And it's gonna have a gay theme song again they're gonna play everywhere for the next 6 months...

And a hero could sav.....

Ehh. The first one was dissappointing compared to all the hype and the money it made.. maybe it was because the movie had to introduce all the characters and all. But the second looks like the first one, so I'm only going to see it if a friend or cousin pays for me... (H)

The first one was ok, it was not the best movie ever, but not the worst, I probably would not see it again.

The second one looks ok as well, nothing to fantastic, just another superhero movie... The thing that makes the trailer good is the music. (H)

then 5 more times on DVD... I didnt even want to, it all just happened.. dont mind though

gotta see part 2... early predictions: when he takes off Spiderman's mask, it's really his father's corpse because Peter Parker's secretly a sick jealous bastard who wants to make that guy's life a living hell :)

I liked the first one it was good and I will go see this one as well. As for my prediction I think that it's gonna be like some dude that Parker just knocks out and puts his suit on him or somethin. The villain looks better this time and I agree about Venom.

I get more exited about X-Men movies though and both the first and the second were better than Spider-Man 1.

I think in Arnold Swarcheneger (iknow its not correctly written ) shame that now its imposible to get him for a movie :(

I really didn't like the first one. It was just like watching a computer game, I didnt get the feeling it was Spiderman flying around on all them buildings, I knew it was CGI, which isn't good to realise things like that when watching a film. Best superhero film is Superman 1 on DVD.:hump:

So many Spider-Man haters :kader:

I dont understand what you look for in a movie then? GORE? BLOOD? SEX? Sure that isnt bad, but its Spider-Man so how can you expect that??? It was a great movie, with nice special effects and nice story line. This second one looks soooo good. And I also agree with everyone that the 3rd one's villain should be Venom. Venom is the all-time #1 enemy of Spidey's.

but thinking somethings funny because its been quoted is CONFORMING.

Seinfeld is REALLY WEIRD. people should be smart and use that word to describe how weird something is, like by saying "Man, this isn't just weird, its SEINFELD weird."

Ugh . . . I just got back from watching Spider-Man 2 today. It was alright, I guess. I can't compare it to the first one because I haven't seen the first one, yet.

SPOILERS!

Hobgoblin [Green Goblin's son] will avange his father in Spider-Man 3.

Spiderman 2 wont be that good but I will see it.

The new 'superman' will be ok, wont beat the first old one though...

Catwoman can get f**ked.

I hear they are making a new batman, thats awesome, and I hear it is either 'set before he is batman' or is going to be 'blood thirsty' which will be great. Hopefully it is something like the first one... the ones after that just sucked d**k.

I honestly found the first one to be amazing, but this one was better. Was left a bit wanting perhaps at the end....it clearly is not a stand alone movie...in the sense that like I said, it leaves you wondering. Seemed like there was a lot more squirting of spidy juice and web this time.....much more attractive.

9/10

ok i watched it. kirsten dunst is washed up, and in the comics dr. octavius was supposed to be evil from the start, not a good turn bad turn good guy.

but the special effects saved the movie. first movie i watched in years that do not have effects similar to the matrix.

I just got back from the movie. I loved it, but I need to see it a few more times before I can say that its better than Spidey 1. and no, its not better than X-men 2 IMO.

still, its awesome, and the one thing thats bugging me is all the people that know who Spiderman is now. MJ, Harry, and like 20 or 30 in the train. didnt like that.

the fights are better than in the first one, the musical sequence after peter parker stops being spiderman is hilarious, and J. Jameson is really funny in all his scenes, also Kirsten Dunst's MJ is more beautiful than before. she's perfect :chick: :hump:

Harry has lots to do now too and his ending is a great setting for Spidey 3 or 4. There's also the professor Connors introduction which could be a possible villain for upcoming movies as we all know from the comics. And now we are introduced to the NASA dudes which will bring Venom to us too (Y) ah, the future of Spiderman looks awesome :bob:

btw, I saw an interview with Sam Raimi and he said they already set July 2, 2008 for Spiderman 3!!! (H)

It's going to be Hobgoblin this time around, not Green Goblin. There HAS to be a second enemy in Spider-Man 3.

Also, the Doc Ock scenario kind of bothered me a bit. The whole "start out good/than turn bad" thing took away from the original comics. His motive for wanting to become a bad guy was a tad bit lame.

and the cake scene was nothing too special, but what it meant was that after all his problems, somebody finally gave him a break.
he had to go through all his spidey problems, the MJ problems, harry's problems, problems with Aunt Mae and also problems at work (I felt his pain when he couldnt even eat anything at the part :( ), so that scene about a girl just wanting to share a piece of cake with him and talk. it was nice (Y)

I hate the fact that on one part of that movie there`s a clue that Harry will be the next Green Goblin, and the Goblin will return in Spidey 3. I know that in the comics that one day Harry will try to take revenge on Parker before he got a periodic amnesia and forget all the spidey and goblin stuffs, before he come back again to be the good Green Goblin. But, come on, Green Goblin again ???!!! I mean, enough of this high tech scientific machines **** !!!! I want Venom for God`s sake !!!!:f***: They should`ve wrapped up Harry ( the Goblin ) and Doc Oct all together in one movie, rather than havin` two Spidey`s movie with a goblin in it.

But this movie is a good movie for a hardcore spidey fan . . . I hope in the third sequel, Parker will get to marry MJ and they start havin` this newly wed young couples problems about lookin` for jobs and apartment . . .

Spider-Man84
07-07-2004, 12:45:PM
BTW....

07 is when it comes out! Ah crap! I thought it would be 06...that would have been better since it only took two years to make the 2nd one. BTW after seeing the movie, it is better than the 1st one. The plot was better. The villain was better. Everything was better.

Predictions for #3 (SPOILERS FROM #2)

-I think Venom is the most likely villain and that it will most likely be The Astronaut, Jameson's son....

Why? In the cartoons remember an astronaut goes to the moon and the venom gets stuck on his shoe or whatever. Well I think it may have already happened to the son. A hint in the movie is when Spidey saved MJ and Jameson's son (forgot his name sorry) jumps from the mini bridge thing to the boat to climb up to where MJ was. There was a little bit of a fade effect when he did that. Even my friend said (who did not watch the cartoons nor read the comics) "Wow, that boyfriend of hers is very athletic" And since Peter took his girl....well there you go...there is your plot. He was built and when he saw the not that MJ was gone...he was furious. Plus he already went to the moon hence when he kisses MJ upside down and is like "WOW I am back on the moon again"

-Harry could help Peter in #3

I think Harry will be involved in the movie either as a hero or as a villain for sure. He found the hover craft, and the weapons, and the mask and the liquid. I think he will become either the Green Goblin or the Hob Goblin..it would be better for the H.G because that is yet to be seen. He could possibly help Peter or go against him. I think he will most likely help him halfway into the film. This makes me think even more than before that there will be 2 bad guys.

BTW, who saw Lee? When he saved that girl from getting smashed by the falling piec of building?

And I think #3 will be the last one....I remember hearing that after the 1st one, they would make a trilogy. I dont think they will make more because I would want the series to end on a positive note. Possibly the BEST triology ever. The first two have made it a very good candidate for that title..

To sum it all up...#2 was a kick *** movie and #3 is going to be awesome I hope. 3 more years...I cant wait

rony31

I thought Venom was some guy named Eddie Brock?

Hakeem
07-07-2004, 01:02:PM
I thought Venom was Flash Thompson. Im confused now

there's also the blonde girl that goes out with flash in the animated series and its also peter's girlfriend at one point I think. cant remember her name.

Spider-Man84: good point on the austranaut. I didnt catch those details about his jump. I did knew that he had just come back from the moon. I think that was the idea of the party.

and Stan Lee, I saw him too :p he's always there in most marvel movies. me and my brother were trying to find him from the start and we both jumped when he appeared :p

and yes, May 4, 2007 is the date for Spidey 3.
Sam Raimi is said to be writing the story for the movie already though someone else will write the actual script from that story (Y)

Hakeem
07-07-2004, 01:11:PM
ok no, Flash is not Venom. Venom is definetely Brock so I guess that JJ's son wont have nothing to do.

anyway, I forgot to add Dr. Curt Connors' Lizard for the next movie.
I think The Lizard is going to be the major enemy and the story of the austranaut and the alien will come up and by the end of the movie Brock (who will get bigger participation in the movie) will transform into Venom and he'll finish the Lizard when Spidey cant do it by himself and so Venom will be left for Spidey 4 ending up in 2 movies as he's basically the best and most popular of Spiderman's enemies (Y)

hanek45
07-07-2004, 01:17:PM
.....whatll happen when Venom is killed (4th movie :p) ????
who comes next....? there was this vampire guy...

btw, are the other girls that appear in the animated series gonna appear in the next movies?? They should... :)

Spider-Man84
07-07-2004, 01:50:PM
According to them...there is no 4th movie. The third one is going to be the final one because they want the triology to end on a positive note and not make movies with stupid story lines. #3 is most likely going to be 2 criminals...they are going to go away from the cartoons a bit and make the astronaut Venom. That is just my opinion. I predicted before I saw #2...Venom and Carnage Vs SPidey and Hob Goblin.

BTW, My bro said he saw 2 GLIDERS and 2 of the chemical things when Harry found the room...meaning there could be a Green Goblin and Hob Goblin.

Spider-Man84: good point on the austranaut. I didnt catch those details about his jump. I did knew that he had just come back from the moon. I think that was the idea of the party.

Yeah, his jump is a little out of the ordinary, so it caught my eye quickly. He is built too, a lot bigger than Spidey as Venom was in the cartoons. I am expecting him to become Venom.

where did you read that? In the interview I saw with sam raimi he said that they have contracts for Spidey 3 (all the actors and him) but if they let him, he'll make 6 or 7. he said there's enough storylines and enemies in the comics to make lots of movies and with all the money they're making, I really dont see them stopping.

I'm sure I'm going to hear it for saying this but........the sequal ....was awful...

first off the science behind the villain and his experiments is bogus...they could have at least made some attempt to be realistic

There won't be a 4th film if that's what you're implying. And the only person who comes to mind to play Eddie Brock is Vin Diesel . . . . .

first off the science behind the villain and his experiments is bogus...they could have at least made some attempt to be realistic

I saw an interview with scientist walking about all that from the movie and they said that it is possible. its somethign they're (scientist in general) working on right now.

they only said that the magnetic field probably wouldnt cut chains and stuff from people's necks, and also that throwing it into the water wouldnt do anything if it was real.

but the whole idea its possible.

It is a movie based on something that could never happen...I bet you want Spider-Man to explain why the webbing came out of his wrists because a spider bite wouldn't cause that. :kader:

It's just a movie, man. Spider-man 2 was one of the better movies I have watched recently which also include the termial (would recommend). Funny, anyone else noticed that they had a scene with Kirsten Dunst (Mary-Jane) in wet clothing... I think they are planning to do that in every Spiderman movie..

I see that Raimi likes to use Actocs of Cheap TV Series (doesnt mean that is bad) look the skinny assistant of Jameson, The Guy of the door of theater, Alfred Molina which is a good actor, nd i dont remember who else.. Sorry 4 my english!!
BTW Raimi used to do Cheap Series like Xena (good one), Hercules, Yng Hercules etc..
