Micheal drives a Ferrari and "The Flash" is a super fast super hero, I think on 100 meters dash The Flash would win hands down, but on a long race in Spa Schumacher would win because he can pull one fast lap after another also and also because his team has the best pit crew.

Isn't Superman the fastest? He can even go faster than the speed of light, and therefore travel back in time.

Have you seen the pace on Marc Overmars, i wouldn`t be surprised if he beat, well Hakkinen off the mark but not schumacer

Schumacher is the best! If it wasn't for that broken leg, he'd have ruled last season! Irvine was a decent replacement, but in Malaysia Schumacher showed his class AGAIN!
Schumacher + Ferrari for the championship 2000!

Honestly, Hakkinen is the fastest, he's proven that. But overall I think Schumie is a beter driver, and with a better no2 will win it next year.
Does anybody else think that perhaps Schumie deliberately didn't try too hard to catch Hakkinen in the last race ? Keep in mind that Schumie and Irvine had numerous fall outs beforehand, so why would he give the title to Irvine ? Ferrari got the constructors, that was enough for Schumie

I think if Irvine had won the title both Schumacher and Ferrari would have been a little embarresed, it would have been quite funny because the No.1 go's with the driver so it would be on a Jaguar next season and not the Ferrari.

Schumie drives a Ferrari. OF COURSE HE'S FASTER!! Hope wins next year. Strange things have happened to him in the last race of the season over the past coupla years. Oh well, at least they got the constructors.

I don't think Schumacher tried too hard to catch Hakkinen. In Malaysia he blew the Finn away, but was strangely quiet in Japan. It ended perfectly (from his view) because Ferrari got constructors, and he is still on line to win championship 2000. Irvine shouldn't have been so rude about Schumacher in the press, it just offended him, and I don't think Schumacher was too pleased about Eddie's comment that he made a great number 2 (to Eddie). Another point. While Eddie Irvine was getting nervous about the appeal, Schumie was off on holiday, saying that the whole saga was a shame, but there was always next year. Think about it...

David Coulthard is too nice to be in F1
Schumacer is the best driver
McLaren have the best car, that`s the only reason hakkinen wins

Sorry Gooner, for once I'll have to disagree with you. If we were talking bout the mclaren of two seasons ago, yes, then I'd agree that mclaren had the best car. But last seasons mclaren's were well below the ferraris, which was rightfully proven in the constructors champs.
Hakkinen is the fastest driver, even Schumie admitted that after defeat in '98. But being the fastest doesn't make him the best. Schumie is the best, after the late great Ayrton Senna that is.
