Hi
Does anyone know where i can get an instrumental version of this song, no words just the 'Backing track'
Reason being is cos i am writing my own version of it, and i need to listen to it without them singing so i can see if it sounds right.

Keane? Gawd, I hate them with their heart-felt piano ballads! Plus the lead singer has a fat head.

He does have a fat head!
Their CD is pretty good, although if you listen to it too much it gets a bit annoying but it's a pretty good album.

I don`t have anything against Keane. Their songs are pretty good, and they don`t try to be some kind of those 70`s rock band gimmicks which are so popular these days . . .

Aye, they're different than most of the stuff that's out there. Prefer Hope of the States, though.

That's one of my favourite bands. Let me know the lyrics to your version. (Make one for This Is The Last Time. The song is good but I think that the lyrics could be better).

PS: Tom Chaplin has a moonface, not flat face.

Who are Hope of the States? PM me one of their songs.

These are the chords I use when I play it acoustic: (standard tuning, guitar)

Verse/intro:
1) A major (x02220)
2) A major 7th (x02120)
3) B minor (224432)
4) Esus4/E major (022200 / 022100)

Bridge passage: (oh simple thing, where have you gone bit)
1) F# minor (244222)
2) C# minor (x46654)
3) B minor (224432) x2

Chorus:
1) D major (xx0232)
2) A major (x02220)

Then back to B minor (224432) -> Esus4 (022200) -> E major (022100) for the "so why don't we go, somewhere only we know" bit.

I think that's it, I'm listening to Pink Floyd so I can't check I'm right. Fairly sure thats how I play it and it sounds fine for a guitar part. :$

edit/ all that for nothing. Balls. :(
