The individual goal celebrations are a great part of FIFA in my opinion. I'd like to see more in 2005. These are a few I can think of, any others you'd like to see? If this has been covered, my apologies.

Robbie Keane: Bad cartwheel -> bad sommersault -> robot dance
Pavel Nedved: Jumps over the barrier and starts running around the outer track
Jesper Grønkjær: Pulls his shirt over his head then runs and yells at the camera (as in the Bulgaria game).

What have you guys got?

Anything that shows adrenilin.

BTW, I'd remove your 'sig', its a tad to big for the mod's likeing.

What happened to the good old handshake, and a pat on the back?

Anyway, goal celebrations become boring very quickly.

There's nothing worse than playing against an idiot, who thinks it's funny to make you watch the celebration; and then the replay three times, after he scored a (lucky) goal! That's a smack-in-the-mouth offence in my book! ;-)

I would like to see the player go over to the bench so that the whole team can celebrate. Or go dancing with the flag stick. I remember in old fifas they have some real creative celebrations.

the old, and the new+individual selebrations all together.

Wouldn't it be nice to add some minor variations to them so its a bit different each time. Also get them from various angles so again its different everytime.

Hmmm... the player could:- Swing around the crossbar five times; perform a triple somersault in mid-air before landing; shove the corner flag up his @rse; swallow the referee's watch; go home and feed his dog; return to the pitch; and then put the football up his t-shirt/jersey, and run around the pitch like a sex-starved pregnant nymphomaniac!

Would that be sufficient?...

i want to see a couple of back flips, maybe a jump into the crowds, and the ability to pick my celebrations like NCAA 2004

How about a Jurgen Klinsmann celebration
or if they (EA) could do it the players run over to the crowd and they hugged by the crowd.

the celebrations should be lik the ones on this is football the player runs in celebration then the celebration fmv comes on

or they should put the celebrations in the matchplay so the playes dont stand still when they score

Yeah I agree with you, sometimes they should have it zoomed out so you can see the fans and the player celebrating.

taking your shirt off should be some sort of cheat....
like if you score and press all the buttons, you get to do that cool celebration and get a yellow card....then the announcers would joke around with the fact that you just got a yellow for that

FIFA 2001 comes to mind...

a) senegal's no shirt, group dance

b) special celebrations depending on weather eg. sliding around on thr ground in the rain

c) lua lua's spectacular gymnastic celebration (flips, flips, more flips and run and celebrate in front of goals)

d) nedved jump over ad boards and out onto track as usual or maybe if there is no track into the crowd etc.

these are a few suggestions that i think if implied would make a lot better simulation experience out of fifa

I'd love to see Oba get his awesome backflips as his celebration in the game.

I'd also like to see this celebration I saw in an Argetine game where the scorer took out a mask and put it on and ran around :p

Also the celebration where a player takes their shirt off and has one under it which says something...

Though hopefully the one where a player sticks his hand downs his pants and grabs his nutz or the one where a guy mouths another guys nutsack aren't added :roflmao:

You couldn't really tell that it was him though.

If you play as holland, and score with that striker (cant remember what one) he does kluiverts celebration.

Since holland is unliscenced you dont know who is who.

Kluivert is the dark skinned forward. I think its ned 7?

Just score with both the forwards and you'll see the celebration on one of the goals.

Hells yes, that's my favorite one, that just has to be in 2005. If there's no track he could always trip over the adboard and pick up a minor injury ;) I also like the idea of holding down a button combination for the shirt rip and subsequent yellow.

Hahahahaha i know what you mean, they watch the replay as many times as they can, the full celebration, and it eats you up inside...especially when you lose money;)

Well i like to see the crowd celebrations too, you know like fireworks, people throwing stuff in the field, and all the other good stuff they do. I want to see the audience get into the games just like in real games.

in we 8 you can select 50 goal celebrations in the ingame editor, that would be a great feature

I would like to see the celebration where the player lifts his shirt, kisses the badge and raises his arm in the air.


I would also like to see the celebration that ian wright and neil ruddock did for west ham in the 1998/99 season where they took the mick out of Paolo Di Canio and Paul Alcock. Wright scored so ruddock ran up to him and raised his arm in the air like he was giving wright a red card, so wright gave him a little push and ruddock stumbled backwards and fell on the floor.


It would be really funny to see that celebration.

I remember the own goal cinematics from 2001 I think, where the player who scored the own goal hammered the ball away, the ball hit the post and then hit the player's croutch... That's embarrasing. Make Eiður Smári Guðjohnsen's celebration where he thanks the fans. Good sportsmanship...
