Yeah, the argentinian league owns the mexican league.

camilo_marin21

it does, but the mexican league has the money, and thats all EA cares about :(

BTW, there is humongous soccer Market in the U.S. Its called Mexican-americans. Ea was brain dead not to this earlier.

A few commercials on Univison, Telemundo, and Telefutra featuring the Mexican league on Fifa equals lots of cash for EA in Novemeber.

Plus now Mexico is an Xbox Live country. Theres a lot of Mexican on it as well.

i hope as well that this time you can buy players from anywhere whilst in career mode

i want the substitution cinema back.
i want lower videocard requirement.
i hope the ea workers can continue create patches such as face ,formation etc after fifa2005 is pubulished.

and above all. you should do a lot in heading.the current heading is rather boring.also corners and freekick should be improved.

By the descriptions on EA's site FIFA 2004 had 18 leagues and FIFA 2005 will have 20, If the mexican league is one, what's the other one? And didn't they say no latin american leagues?

What if they meant no more latin leagues and they considered things like Mexico and Argentina, which were in Rest of World were like part of Latin leagues and by no more latin leagues they mean from other countries?

Seeing that for the first time after 4 years the greek language is included as an option in the official site of the game makes me a bit happy concerning the greek championship. Let's see...
I'd also like to say that including minor leagues (english mainly) while leaving out leagues like the greek, turkish, mexican or whatever is at least annoying...
Anyway I dont think it is THAT difficult to just include the leagues eg. without any detail (no names no faces no sponsors no stadiums etc) and let us patch the game.
JUST INCLUDE 4-5 LEAGUES WITH 16 TEAMS EACH AND WE WILL DO THE REST EDITING................................
It's all we ask for if you "cannot" include some major championships due to the heavy work you have including some stupid little teams....

FF7
07-07-2004, 04:11:PM
they should definately include the greek and mexican league
maybe argentinian and turkish also

sorry to burst your bubbles guys, but just because the mexican logo is on the sleeves, dosent mean the league is in the game, look at fifa 2004, the mexican teams had the mexican logo on the sleeves too. i wish they would add the jleague too, i see the highlights of it sometimes on FSW and it looks like a good league,

I really Hope that they put the Mexican League...if not at least my team Guadalajara...But I do think that if they put in there the Mexican League...the Argentina League has been a Must since the franchise started! I think that the 3 Best leagues in America should be...which are Argentina, Brazil and Mexico...there is really no excuse for these to be out of the game...as for a 2nd division English league to be added...come on people....I rather see MLS like it is now (which sucks by the way...) than a second division of any country

ishan1990
10-07-2004, 04:49:AM
still, the second and third divisions add to the carreer mode. It actually matters some what if you come in last because you get relegated. Thats a fun aspect,

Actually none of Rest of world teams, had the logo in the sleeves, neither did the brazilian teams, for what i recall there's no logo at all. If we saw screenshots of River vs. Boca we wouldn't be able to tell if the argentine league is in the game 'cuz the argentina league does not have logo, and by default none of the teams use a logo in the sleeve, few teams(none of those being Boca or River) use a little flag of Argentina on the jersey(some do have it on the sleeve, but others don't).

Well, actually the 4 Mexican teams inn 2004 DID have the FMF Logo, but they were in Rest of World. I swear to you I was VERY disappointed as I looked around the leagues when I first bought the game and saw no FMF... instead I saw America, Toluca, Monterrey and Pumas... I was PISSED!!! They rather include MLS...UGH! Who watches MLS anyways? MLS players make me fall asleep...they aren't very skillful nor entertaining. If the Mexican league isnt in FIFA 2005, EA lost a long-time, devoted costumer... Really though, If they dont include it, the first game that includes the complete Mexican league, that will be my company of choice, and I wont change my mind. Argentine league is OK i guess, although the only good teams I know are Boca and River.

PLEASE EA!! INCLUDE MEXICAN LEAGUE!! PLEASE!!:hump:

RUSSIAN PREMIER LEAGUE!
Or at least some top teams (Lokomotiv (2 years a row in top 16 in Champions League), CSKA (this year's Champions League participant)

Our teams are signing such players as Cavenaghi, Vagner Love, Daniel Carvalho, Ivica Olic, Lima and others.

+Adding Russian league would guarantee good selling of OFFICIAL Fifa05 instead of buying pirate versions.

i hope that at least they reduce the mexican league from 20 to 18 teams like they just did... and replace San Luis, who was relegated, with Sinaloa who gained promotion.

I also know that they wont put much effort into the faces and everything related to appearances... so I do hope it does come with a CC for PS2 so I can fix up the Mexican league. (Y) :D

Notice in the list of leagues it appears Argentina, but only shows Boca and River then again they also appear in the Rest of world and notice the very few teams on Rest of world, also the fact that Argentina appears between the leagues list, and yet remember this has 2 new leagues, and evidently one of them is the mexican league, could it be possible that the other one is Argentina and they'll update it as the time goes be?. Beacuse the Rest of world has like 10 teams + Boca and River and same thing happens with the polish flag, and if you count the country flags you have 20, then Rest of world and International, hmm....

Shiryu
24-07-2004, 03:03:PM
Well, the Polish League only shows 3 teams.... that can't be possible....

If the other polish teams are added, then maybe the other argentinian teams will also be added later.:D

El Diablo Rojo
24-07-2004, 03:22:PM
Yeah that's the same i think. Something strange that FIFA 2004 apparently had 18 leagues and FIFA 2005 has 20, but if you see there'd be 3 new leagues, Argentina, Mexico and Poland, that means one got removed however i don't notice any being removed from FIFA 2004. Does this mean that on FIFA 2004 they placed the Premier League and the English Divisions as different leagues?????:X

henry#14
24-07-2004, 04:35:PM
i hope this is true. i mean who gives a **** about English Division 2&3:kader:

El Diablo Rojo
24-07-2004, 05:03:PM
I've checked the list of leagues in FIFA 2004, and if you count the English Divisions as an extra league then you get the 18 leagues, apparently they have english divisions on FIFA 2005 but they're in the same group of Premier League, that means then that there're 3 new leagues, so yeah it seems Argentina, Mexico and Poland got their leagues. I guess they didn't add all the teams of Argentina in the list yet since just few weeks ago 4 teams won promotion(and 4 got relegated duh, Argentina's Primera Division has 20 teams anyway), so they'll update it later, also i noticed the lack of Celta Vigo which should be in Spanish Segunda, but it's not there nor in Primera either.
