We'll know the name of the France new manager next Friday in the Fédération Française de Football conference. Claude Simonet, the president, will give the new fonctions of the new manager at this occasion. There's a lot of coach who wants to be the next France manager: the name of Laurent Blanc, Jean Tigana or Raymonde Domenech are frequently heared. And since yesterday, the new aspirant is Glenn Hoddle, manager of Tottenham and England NT in World Cup 1998.
On this file, the advice of Michel Platini will be important. In 2002, after Lemerre resigns, Platini soutained Santini (because rhey played together in Saint-Etienne) and Simonet followed Platini. But this year, Simonet won't be the president of the Ferderation in 2005, so he has to be clear, and to say that he's the boss. Platini wants Tigana, Simonet wants Blanc...
If Blanc is the new coach, players like Zidane, Barthez or Thuram will stay in France NT, because he's a friend of all of this players? If it's Tigana, it's not too sure.

The declared candidats are: Bruno Metsu, Raymond Domenech, Philippe Troussier, Laurent Blanc, Glenn Hoddle, Jean Tigana.

In France, a lot of persons want Arsène Wenger, like in Germany, but he's still the manager of Arsenal and I don't think that he leaves his club. Maybe in the future, because Zrsène wants to win Champions League with Arsenal.

Laurent Blanc is the favourite IMO

And you, what do you think?

Blanc might fu(k things up with no experience... arsene is better at club lever.. he wouldnt have time to set up the team

Tigana maybe..
(btw Santini appeared like he knew nothing about football during euros)

Tigana, would finally make Malbranque a French International, after all it was Tigana would called him ''The new Zidane, just with more hair,no?''(H) I would like to see him coach as he is a fantastic manager, even if he is a bit 1D.

I see no chance of Arsene leaving Arsenal for the French NT.

Tigana seems as the most likeliest of choices.

I wouldn't like Blanc to do it since he has no experience in coaching so to go from no coaching to taking over one of the most talented team in the world just doesn't seem a great plan for success.

Metsu or Trouillier would be interesting choices who I would rather as the new coach instead of Hoddle...

Wenger is the best coach on that list
