I dont remember who did the announcing for the 02 Cup. BUT THEM! When Mathis trapped the ball perfectly and scored on Korea and he said "Thats why hes here!!!!" That gave me goosebumps. It was the right comment at the exact right moment. :rockman:

Yea, JP Dellacamera and Smyth. Bretos that loser mispronounces every name and has no knowledge of the players or teams. Smyth is the ultimate analyst, I'm so glad he's with ESPN.

Me, no one else really knows what they're talking about. Since WC 98 it's been my dream to be the first commentator in the US who knows what they're taking about/doesn't go off on a tangent for 10 minutes each game about passive offsides.

Bretos and Tommy Smyth would be pretty amazing to me(Y).

I can't say I know of any of these commentators, but as long as it's not anyone who's done CL, WC, or MLS commentary in the USA for the last 2 years, they're fine by me.

I would say Bretos would be the best option if he just went solo in the booth. I mean ESPN for some reason won't let Symth do NT games anymore so it comes down to Bretos being much much better than Balboa.

I would also like to see John Harkes call some games. He is pretty good on MLS wrap and seems like he could do a good job on calling games. He has been around the block of American soccer but seems to have a personality unlike Balboa who may just be a Robot wearing a Pat Riley wig.

Balboa and Rob Stone are f*cking idiots, neither of them know what they are talking about and they got the most annoying voices. Yesterday during the USA vs. Poland match at one point neither said anything for about 3 minutes :|.

Wynalda is pretty good but he can say some stupid things at times too.
