there are alowed as many as you wish. To get a wp the player needs to have played 75% of the international matches of his country from the last period (don't know how long).

I just got Diego on a conditional WP. Does that mean he has to play a certain % of games to stay?

75% I think.
i thought it was 80 or 85%
if you dont wanna start Diego then just sub him in the last min of the game so it counts as a percent to his WP:D

Yeah, otherwise you wont be able to give him a new contract.

wht i want to know is when do the times begin
like theres this one pbrazillian in the dutch league who has now started playing in the international team, i want to know when the no. of games played is reset, so i could bring him to the EPL
Just try. In my experience, i got Robinho with only one cap for Liverpool, and Kakalov with zero caps for the A team (about 10 caps for the U21 team though).

I think its something to do along the lines of they look at your squad and they decide whether the player in question is good enough to command a first team place.
