Okay, Nightline was talking about Stewart and when the verdict came in it was lighter than expected. Her stocks went up like crazy and now she's 93 million dollars richer. I'm not f*cking kidding...

I don't believe she was convicted of insider trading, i believe she was convicted of purgery in the form of lying to a Grand Jury. The sentence in that case fits the crime.

aparrently she's a tyrant off-camera as well. A few years ago when I worked in Connecticut I was living in an area not too far from where Martha Stewart lives (Westport, CT) and I spoke to some contractors who did work for her in the past and they said she was a F*ckin' maniac. They told me that the littlest thing would send her into a rage and she'd come out screaming and call the guys "stupid motherf*ckers!" and say she was gonna get them all fired, etc

I'm disapointed. Federal guidelines say that she should have gotten 10-18 months (or something like that). The judge let her off easy.

Yeah, if she just admitted to insider trading and didn't lie about it, she would not have gone to jail.

Actually, Martha Stewart only made about 50 grand. I know that's a lot, but those Enron bastards stole millions of dollars, caused thousands of people their jobs, and basically ruined lives. And alls they got was a tap on the wrist.

BTW, Martha Stewart has some pretty good cookin tips.
