here are some ideas for fifa 2001

1 completely change that crowd noise!make it more hostile if your away,and louder when your at home

2 make the referee(and hopefully linesman) make mistakes,for example scoring a goal when your offside.

3 introduce handball

4 make the goalies more realistic,and make them able to be sent off

5 when the defenders clear the ball,make them boot it less accurately and sometimes out of play

6 make strikers less accurate,cause in real football they sometimes hit the corner flag when they shoot

i hope someone from EA reads this,and that more people will write in with suggestions

I like all those suggestons, except for the blind refs...

You don't have to request from
BLIND REFEREEs....they are already blind.

They issue offsides that are so obviously ONSIDE, and when the ball is crossed to a striker SOOOOOOOO obviously OFFSIDE, no offside given by the referee.

Yes i noticed that too, lets say a corner is taken and cleared to about 35 meters and then one of the midfielders passes the ball back to the striker who is in the off-side position(i look at replay from wide angle). Just another piece of proof that FIFA 2000 is crap...

all i meant was it would be a good idea for the refs to make cock-ups,after all they really do.
also it would be good if they let you play on AND score,then rule it out,so u see the players celebrating,then looking p***ed off.
also have the players arguing with the ref,then getting booked for dissent!!!!

Huh? i think I lost you on that explanation...

You mean what happens if the goalkeeper is somewhere near the 18 meter line, in that case two defenders have to be before the last attacker or the pass will be offsides.

The rule is that minimum two defenders must be before or in line the last attacker before the pass. Usually the goalkeeper is one of these defenders.
