I thing he should be awarded the title this year! He got the title in 91 but this year he really deserves to be the worlds best soccer player. He is already 39 and he has done so much for bayern munich and for soccer world wide that he should be rewarded for that. And maybe this is his last season

There are better players around than "der Lothar". If you want to give him a kind of "career award", I might agree. But this year has only just begun and there are many better players around that really are going to deserve the award of best player this year.
