No brainer,

skonto

With the likes of Gatis Kalninš who's stopping them? NOOOOOBODY*! And for all of you who don't believe, take a look at Rhyl! Dead like that squirel my unlce ran over this mourning (several times). no one can stop them, not Trabzonspor, not Partizan, Ac prague, not AC milan... wait scratch that one, I mean what are the chances that AC milan even last 30 seconds in the tourny (not very likely according to ESPN). Skonto, SKONTO!

It's funny how u forgot that result was unfair and robbed, not to mention the results Porto vs.Benfica in the last 3/4 years... just to put the things how they are:

2000/2001- FC Porto 2-0 Benfica(League), FC Porto 4-0 Benfica(Cup)
2001/2002- Benfica 0-0 FC Porto(League), FC Porto 3-2 Benfica(League)
2002/2003- FC Porto 2-1 Benfica(League), Benfica 0-1 FC Porto(League)
2003/2004- FC Porto 2-0 Benfica(League), Benfica 1-1 FC Porto(League)

This means Benfica was 4 years without beating us and being crushed in some games(for example that cup game when we won by 4 but it could have been a result like 8-0...), i think this shows who's the strong team in Portugal in the last years, again just facts mate... ;) (H)

Aveirenses
25-07-2004, 10:28:AM
Yes, it's always robbery when Porto lose, but always fair-play when they win.

And I'll bring up that SMALL fact that I mentioned in the SuperLiga thread again, only because the arguement is quite similar...

"Porto dived... A LOT"

";) (H) "

If you're saying that Porto has never "robbed" another team, when speaking about the Benfica match, of which (btw,) there was no such robifilication, then you're blind or in deep deep denial.

Nuno Valente's huge elbow to the face of a Deportivo player in the area while the reff's back was turned during the CL Semi-Final Second Leg...

Deco's many many many dives, one which even resulted to a penalty(CL Semi-Final Second Leg vs. Deportivo), granted it would've been a penalty anyways, but it definitely had some Shakespearic playacting involved...

The dissallowed goal at Old Trafford...

The dive which lead to the freekick which lead to the save which lead to the rebound which lead to the goal at Old Trafford...

The two playacts by Baia in the CL-Finale...

Ladies and gentlemen, the truth is out there, feel free to come to your own conclusion...

Ur off ur head!

Are u a teenage boy or sumthin cos if ur a grown man then I fear for our country?

Nothing wrong with optimism of course but to latch on to pre season friendlies as a guide to how a season will pan out isn't very realistic.
