I read in the paper a few days back showing Massimo Taibi ( yeah, I know, the goalpost. ) coming back from Italy after some goalkeeping training. He says that he will fight with Bosnich and Van for the NO.1 jersey for ManU. But just that he needs the time to change his environment in english football.

OK, how many agree, that Taibi should be given time to adjust to England and give him another chance after the defeat from Chelsea?

I say I'll give another chance, I can forsee, he can be a useful lad in Man U. Trust me, give him time.

To be honest, I believe that Raimond Van Der Gouw will prove himself to be Man Utd's #1.
Lets hope he continues his great form.
Don't reall care if Taibi comes baxk or not.
Even crappy Bosnich is better.

Taibi is the best n is better than the Australian or the Dutch keepers..

Just wait and see.. without Taibi.. MU is nothing..

Just give that lad a chance.. if you all don't give him a chance.. this means that you are pointing fingers at MU as blinds to purchase Taibi !!! Surely the MU's scout is not blind or stupid to choose to purchase Taibi.. sometimes.. when a team conceded a goal.. it is not always the keeper's fault because if the defends defended well, surely the goal post will not leak !!

I agree, I watch united every match and I think Taibi will turn out better than Van der Gouw and Bosnich. I think Fergie only got Bosnich to make a quick profit but he's ended up stuck with him. Van der Gouw has been a great servant to the club but i think he's just about past it now, he's alright but his reflexes have started go.

Oh yeah, Ste, I didn't think Taibi did to bad against the SH*TE, and as for bribing didn't Grobellar used to play for you?

Perhaps Manchester can do with hi, what they did with other young/inexperienced players: Either let him play things like Cup League matches, or loan him for a while to an other English club (possibly another Divison) and let him gain inexperience.

Besides that, both Var der Gouw and Bosnich continue to show excellent capabilites (even if less than Schmeichel) and are deffinitely better than Massimo. I, for one, think they should just buy someone better, like Var der Sar, Chilavert, or (god forbid) Kahn.

Man utd made the mistake of waiting too long with the keeper situation. They should've looked for a young u/21 international and got him into the squad while Schmeichel was still there, so that he could learn and grow.
Taibi was an awful buy.

Yorke, Cole, Solskjaer, Schmeichel, Keane...
You know what? When it comes to transfers, Sir Alex has got the knack. Look at Stam when he started - everyone was saying what a crap buy he was but now he is one of the most feared defenders in the Premiership. Massimo Taibi, Quinton Fortune and Mickael Silvestre are all good buys and are sure to develop into world - class footballers.

What now Man U and Sir Alex doesnt make crappy transfers? Remember Jordi Cruyff, or Karel Poborsky. There was an article I read a while back about all the crappy tranfers they made in the past few years and believe me the list was quite long.

That being said Bosnich is a proven talent and I think one of the better keepers in EPL, if it wasn't for him always getting injured this season. Taibi screwed up too many times already to be forgiven in my opinion, so ship him out.

Man U has bigger problems to worry about like a new left back, and a second center back.

Hi

MC Hammer if you get TV or Radio or even papers in where ever you come from you will have heard that Bruce Grobbalaar has been CLEARED of match fixing charges!

And it is common knowledge that man Utd and there players get favourable desistions from the FA like Alex Fergussion only let G. Kelly from the FA who supports man utd deal with Man U!

Hey Ste! Are you talking about the favourable decisions which got Denis Irwin sent off for kicking the ball away and Berger winning a penalty when he fell over a couple of feet away from anyone else! Looking back that had to be the funniest match i've ever been at! All them scousers looking like they'd won the European Cup with a draw!!! at Home!!! what a laugh!!!

Stuff Taibi, Man U need a goalkeepr, you know that guy that stand in the goal and tries to prevent goals from being scored.

All they have know are a bunch of clowns, Beckham would do better in goal maybe.

MC hammer, shame, poor man utd always picked upon ! Poor Irwin can't even kick the ball away after it had gone out in a favorable position for a quick liverpool attack without being given a yellow which made it two for the match and a red.

Don't you find it odd that referees would give favorable decisions toward Manchester United, while everyone in the crowds (just check any other post here) obviously hates them?...
