I posted this in the Downlaods bit, but for those of you who don't visit it. . .

Chris Davies is working with myself, Andrew Drinkwater, and a couple of other people on ESP 2000 (working title) which will not only include rosters which are bang up to date, for 70 (yes, seventy) English sides, authentic home and away kits for all Premiership sides (plus three Division 1 sides), new adboards, new ball, new stadia, loads of new music. . . I could go on, but I won't. It should be out by Christmas.

Yes, we're moving to a shiny new server (which should be faster), and the move will be complete by Monday hopefully, when we might just be able to speed Ric some screenshots http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hey Drinky,
Are you using 64 colours in the kits?

Drinky UKSN

At the moment, all the kits are in the old four colour mode, but if we can upgrade them to 64 colours, we will - only the best for FIFA 2000 fans http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

When I download kits I experience a very annoying problem - half of the commentary (team name, "let's look how they line up" etc.) is lost.
Do you know anything about this problem and will it exist with the new ESP.

PS: ESP has always been the best thing for FIFA, thank you, guys http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

Why don't you make the ESP have all divisons?
I mean you can fit them now that there is the clasic and MSL to overtake with it. Plus other leagues that people don't use. I say if they don't like what you have tacken over then they can just uninstall it. I know this would make the download a bit too big but in the end its worth the wait. Just one more thing: Is 64 color kits for 3dfx only? Because every time I try to use one without 3dfx it has a device error.
Thanks from I@n S
Go England Euro 2000!

Hello all! Chris Davies, the main man (although Drinky is helping out a lot too! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif behind the E.S.P. here! Just a note to say that now, yes, the kits WILL be 64 colours, and yes, I@n S, these kits will NOT crash your PC. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif We are working so hard on the E.S.P. at the moment (now renamed Patch of the Day, after the English T.V. show Match of the Day, featuring all of the Premiership matches highlights together each Saturday night at 10:30pm, with all of the English version commentators in FIFA 2000!), that it will not be released until it is bug-free (no bugs have been spotted at the moment), and just to show you how well we are getting on - Apart from a list of new menu screens, there are 20 subjects of things that myself and Drinky split into 10 things each - I have done 2 (3 by tonight) and Drinky has done 2 (3 by tommorow), so that means a grand total of 20% of Patch of the Day has been completed (30% tommorow)! And what we have done so far is the big, BIG stuff, so it should be done by our set release date (before Christmas)! Just call us our Stuff-The-F.A.-Premier-League-Stars-because-FIFA-2000-is-better-and-with-the-Patch-of-the-Day-it-is-unbeatable-Santa's, eh? http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif OK, well, see ya later! Any more questions you want answering, just reply to this message. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

(P.S. - We would put all of the E.S.P. Divisions in, I@n, but the Classic league is colourless (which would be a bit daft for a 1999\2000 game! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif, and the MLS league is what American-soccer-fans-who-are-also-English-football-fans would like, and besides, the Rest of the World league has enough for the WHOLE of Division One, and 8 teams (if you know the cheat! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif from Division Two! Plus, we will probably figure out a way to include Division Two and Three as WELL in a later update. So, stay tuned!)

Well, Tal Bereznitskey has agreed to lend a hand if we moved to Euro-BALL (www.euro-ball.com), so we are in the process of uploading our stuff to there. Please note, that this new site will STILL be in conjuction with Soccer Gaming (our very good friends here) and UKSN (where the other man in the E.S.P. team, Andrew Drinkwater, lives), but we will be hosted a Euro-BALL for Tal's help as well. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif The site address will be http://esp.euro-ball.com, but only after we upload there, so don't go checking it just yet! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif Any changes will be noted here later on - Thanks for asking, mate! Hope this answered your question. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

Just a note to say that I have now completed 50% of my E.S.P. 2000 (Patch of the Day) to-do list, and within a week too - It looks like this little baby is going to be delivered to you all very soon indeed! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif Today I completed the kits and new adboards, and with everything else I have done, it means I only have menu screens, stadiums and rosters (come on Jochen Tree! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif to complete - Menu screens won't take TOO long, putting Division One and Two in will take a day to do, and the stadiums we will want to get JUST right - In short, everything should be complete by next weekend, if Andrew Drinkwater gets his list complete too! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif Don't expect next weekend as a release date though, it is only suggested and we don't want another hate campaign like FIFA 99's E.S.P. got... http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/frown.gif So just wait, and you shall recieve! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif

Chris - i assume eating, sleeping and breathing have slipped down the old priority list now that ESP2000 is rolling?!!!

I can eat, drink and (thankfully) breathe while I am editing for Patch of the Day, and now I have recieved 2 E-Mails, one advertising a patch sounding EXACTLY the same as ours, and one advertising 64-colour-fantastic-o-quality Premiership kits, we are working even harder (which is not possible now, might I add) to make the patch not JUST the Patch of the Day, but the patch of a lifetime. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif I normally go to sleep at midnight or before, but now I find myself working until about 3am every night and just falling asleep in my big ol' squeaky leather computer chair when I am ready (hopefully not while being connected to the Internet...)! In-fact, I have just finished all of the menu screens, which is the only reason I have visited this forum to see if there are any more questions for me to answer! Anyway, I posted Ric of Soccer Gaming the main menu screeen (now slightly re-adjusted), so as soon as his Internet connection is back and working again (apparently some people were taking a look at it at the weekend), he will probably post it. OK, well, back to work! This is gonna be great... http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
