cashless 30-07-2004, 03:49:AM I'm just worried about if the graphic will be that crazy shiny with a radeon card. I can't stand that ..
my pc specs
P4 1.6Ghz
256MB DDR RAM
GeForce FX 5600 XT 256MB
i think will run fifa05 without problems just may be some part will be a little bit slow since i only have 256MB memory. just hope EA won't use too much graphics on unnecessary part like they did in FIFA 2004 and EURO2004. slow menu and also in game menu
John Motson 30-07-2004, 02:01:PM Yours wont be slow. The FIFA series has to cater for a large base of users, thats why the graphics are behind when compared to NBA Live, Madden - all require system req higher than FIFA.
Ian84 30-07-2004, 04:32:PM mine is 9600xt 128mb
ddr 512mb visipro... that's it?? i believe it will easily run fifa2005 in better detail and resolution.. :p i hope..
I have Celeron 2.0 @ 2.2, Mushkin 512DDR PC2700, GeForce FX5900XT (OC)
I'm sure i can play FIFA 2005 :D
Frost 30-07-2004, 07:05:PM My specs:

DaScorpio 30-07-2004, 09:12:PM A friend of mine has a:
p4 1.6GHz
512mb ram
geforce 4 ti4200
and fifa04, euro04 runs to slow (8 fps):(
my specs:
p4 2.53GHz
1024mb ram
geforce 4 ti4200
and they both runs only smooth with:
RENDER_EVERY_AI_FRAME = 1 :rolleyes:
I hope they fix it
so that I can play without RENDER_EVERY_AI_FRAME = 1
and my friend can play it.........

wtf, 8 FPS ?
My friend with Athlon 700MHz, 256SDR, GF 2 MX400 playd game with many more FPS...
I think that there wont be any special hardware requests by FIFA, 'cause, as you know, EA Sports always polishes it pretty right. And, as I saw on the screenshots, 2005 will run on the 2004 engine, but, of course, Isaac has some other arguments...
Btw, my specs...
ABIT IC7 MAX3
420 W Chieftec power supply

nico2001 17-08-2004, 03:41:AM I have a:
PIII 650 mhz
128 mb ram
Geforce 2 MX 400
I know it's crap but it runs fifa04 very well... 1024 x 768 resolution, very high quality graphics... I hope fifa 05 will have the same graphics requirements cuz if not I won't play this game :kader:
Even my father would kill me if I ask him to buy me a new pc just for a game :D
Phoenix 17-08-2004, 01:57:PM I think you are all getting worried over nothing.
My old pc was a P3 500, 196 ram and a mx400 64mb vid card and it still ran FIFA fine and Euro with a slight bit of lag when the crazy camera angles were happening
Anyone with about a 1ghz pc, 256mb ram and a 128mb video card should be ok. (But remember, different speeds in video cards will effect your gameplay even more so than its video memory)
Besides, as said earlier, EA cater for a wide market, the graphics will be tame as per usual.

FFC2004 19-08-2004, 11:10:AM well done with the double post:rolleyes:
HClausing 21-08-2004, 03:29:AM This game will be in CD or DVD ????
Shards 21-08-2004, 04:32:AM where'd u get the specs, Hinch?

Puma1 24-08-2004, 08:24:AM I wonder if it's too late to post?
Anyways, my specs are:
3000+ Athlon XP Processor
2.17 ghz
160 GB
512 SDRAM at 3.33 mhz
DVD+CD RW
GForce NForce audio
Plus a bunch of other stuff stuff
But my weakest thing is:
GForce 4 MX 64 MB
But it still runs games awestrucking. Nothing better than to play Battlefield 1942 with the highest detail settings with 800+ bots with almost flawless flamerate.
:jacko:

celtic_bhoy 03-09-2004, 05:47:PM why are ppl posting there computer specs, ffs no-one cares, and if you know ur specs why are you asking will the games work when theyve released the minimum requirements:kader:

So true. I can understand the people who are boarderline with the requirements, but the people who clearly are over the requirements theres no need. And the people asking "can I run it under high detail?" How will other people know....they haven't played the game.
proxnet 04-09-2004, 09:38:PM i have a p4 2.8 GHz pc with windows xp and 256 mb ram. My graphics card is Intel 82845G. min graphics memory is 8 mb and max. graphics memory is 64mb. My question is will fifa 2005 run smoothly on my comp.?
proxnet 05-09-2004, 01:25:PM check everything a fifafootball2005.ea.com
Rocky 05-09-2004, 02:16:PM how can i check which video card i have? i forgot which one i installed
proxnet 05-09-2004, 02:52:PM If you have windows xp then right click on the desktop and then go in graphic options and then graphics properties. U can see your card out there
Rocky 05-09-2004, 02:53:PM thanks:D
proxnet 05-09-2004, 02:53:PM Otherwise for some other operating system you'll have to go in properties and then check somewhere
Rocky 05-09-2004, 02:58:PM will this game work with a Intel 82845G graphics card???
proxnet 05-09-2004, 03:01:PM If your other specs r okay then it shud work, cuz intel cards are supported.
Rocky 05-09-2004, 03:06:PM yes the specs are excellent!!!! thanks for ur help. u were a big help(H)
proxnet 05-09-2004, 03:10:PM Sure man..........
[Pointless attachment removed]
Marcus 05-09-2004, 05:09:PM Arent intel cards like the internal 8mb ones that are really crap? If so then if the game works the graphics won't be great. Your comp is good, but the ram could be doubled and a better graphics card is needed. If im wrong bout the intel card my bad.
celtic_bhoy 06-09-2004, 03:43:PM proxnet why the hell do you keep posting the arsenal logo after almost all of your post?
theedor 06-09-2004, 07:11:PM some of you seem to be masturbating by announcing your system specs. so funny so cute
proxnet 08-09-2004, 07:45:PM ok... i have a graphics card which is not supported by ea. but it exceeds 32 mb. will the game work??
Marcus 09-09-2004, 02:01:AM Well its not supported so your answers there. But you might be lucky and it may work.
proxnet 09-09-2004, 07:19:PM I have a doubt cuz even 2004 dosen't support mine but it still works
P4 1.6GHZ
256MB DDR RAM
40GB HDD
GeForce FX 5600 256MB XT
and it works fines overall, just it will lag when action in penalty area. i doubted is i have not enough RAM. so i thinking to get a 512MB DDR RAM to make it 728MB. i think should be fine after that
any opinion on why i still facing lag?
proxnet 11-09-2004, 06:58:PM i guess that at the penalty area there r lots of graphics to load . ur ram is fine try upgrading to 2.8 or something in 2GHz cuz i have same specificaions except GHz and graphics card and it works fine. i have 2.8 GHz
any other opinion on why i facing lag while action in penalty area?
note: i using 1024x768x32 resolution

B1u3s0n1c 28-12-2004, 01:56:PM i have checked and i have a 16 mb video card and i know that the requirements are 32 mb but just wanna check if that is the thing that causes my game to crash before the game even starts...
if it is please advise me on what to do...
proxnet 28-12-2004, 02:05:PM yup it is ur card cuz the same thing had happened to my friend..he had everything fine but for his graphics card
B1u3s0n1c 28-12-2004, 02:12:PM thanks for replying but did your friend eventually play the game?
i want to find some kind of solution to this but all i got from friends and relatives is to buy a new one...but they are so expensive!!!
i would kindly appreciate some kind of help here but its ok if you cant...i know you tried...
proxnet 28-12-2004, 02:35:PM no he din' play the game eventually...he settled down with fifa 04
btw abt. graphic cards don't go for high end cards or the ones that are supported just go for some Intel graphics card having 64 mb of ram...that will serve u cuz i used to play the game on some dumb intel 64 mb card first but now i have an
ATI Radeon 9000
B1u3s0n1c 28-12-2004, 02:49:PM yea so that means i have to buy a new one but it cost a few hundred rite?
school is starting soon so my parents probably wont allow me to buy a new one is there some kind of an alternative method so that i can play?
proxnet 28-12-2004, 05:33:PM i don't think so :(
