This topic was posted so that everybody can know in someway how to make the gameplay harder and more difficult to beat, there is abit of info on other topics but none just about this problem!!

Please send in your comments and suggestions!!

Here is what i did:

If you have not noticed all the teams in Fifa 2000 are set to maximum offence. I reduced the offence to the centre for most of the teams. I found this very helpful in making the game more difficult to beat on World Class now.

Please post your suggestion.

My first suggestion is to get FIFA 99 if you dont have it and play that instead. Also you can get This is Football I hear that game is really good.
Pushing the bar to mid point is ok to a point, but still doesnt fix the many things which are wrong with this game.

Yesterday, while sitting at home waiting for my cable tv installation I decided to try setting all the goalies in the Scottish league to maximum IE 7 in the hope that I might get some more realistic score lines. I only had time to play one game, Celtic v Kilmarnock. I won 6-1.
The strangest thing was that every other team seem to have scored more than usual like 4-3 3-2 5-3. I might start again but this time increase at least 2 defenders from each team and see if that helps. I'll let ya know.

Forgot to mention. I was playing at Pro level. Might be dif on World Class.

do what Mark suggest and also make your own gk and defenders suck like nothing before. hopefully everytime the AI gets a shot on goal it'll be a goal

How about setting the forwards shoot to like 2-3 or 4 your shoot will get much worse and the scores are now much more realistic. Like 1-0 with Arsenal against West Ham.

Play a team with all stats are 1 players against the best of the best
on world class. At least you will get somewhat realistic scores.

The fact that you have to do all this work to make this game enjoyable is a joke! You should be able to open the box and play; just like FIFA99. This forum displays what a joke FIFA2000 really is!
I was first on this forum to suggest reducing the IGM attack to 50% to make more realistic scores. That does not work for everybody; especially if your a good player.
The AI in 99 is way better than 2000; that is why you do not have to make many adjustments before each and every game.

You are correct my man. It sucks that we have to tweak the game to make it more playable, but as I'm playing on PSX, buying the latest version is the only way to get (reasonably) up to date rosters.

I completly agree with AS Roma, why do we hafto make all these changes just to make the game playable!?

I just hope EA sports realize this and make next years version much better in playability. All other aspects of this game are great in my opinion.
