well well, look at the reds almost fully healthy and ready to destroy once more, oh you disagree just ask west ham for nearly a half they barely touched the ball as they were taken apart systematically in the first 20 min, but west ham did fight to the end but it was not good enough, with keane, yorke, becks, and giggs at there best manu is the cream of the crop in europe. Leeds dont have a chance remember who beat em, early in the season? liverpool dont make me laugh there terrible this year, and arsenal, well arsenal are self destructing, and chelsea have to be the laughing stock of all the premier contenders!!!!!

Nope sorry can't see ManU taking the league. Leeds will hold on to first place.

LEEDS dont have the depth to offer a serious challenge as this season progress's im osrry, not to be cocky though, i admit they have a good team but what happens if injuries occur, what if kewell, one of the best young lads around, goes down, leeds just dont have the depth, and the fact they are in first is only because they have played one more than manu.
Leeds didnt even look impressive at there meeting with chelsea. they were largely outplayed and were lucky for the win but i guess when your on a role things always go right. Manu will take the three points when they go visit leeds until then you can watch the reds gear up for the meeting while they play the other challengers. sorry man it takes more than 1 or 2 players to bring the crown to leeds, and theres no way there gonna handle the stretch, theyve just had a good start. Its no suprise to see manu where they are theyve been up there for the past 6-7 years.

Forget it Arsenal will take the league, Cup and Uefa cup. Manu ready to destroy eh. Isnt that what Paulo Di Canio done single handedly to their defence. If he`d slotted that sitter instead of going for the chip i think you`d see a different result.

sorry gonner di canio didnt and that was the end as yorke slotted home what was a sure resilt from the start arsenal? pleeeeze, they have not done anything since the charity shield which will be the only silverware they get here paws on this year, champions league was a bust for em and now there in uefa cup big deal, if manu places like fifth or sixth then maybe we will see manu in ueaf cup action next year, for petes sake wake up manu will defend there euro crown, arsenal have already shot them selves in the foot manu won the league last year with only 5 losses in league play and how many have arsenal lost already, look at chelsea one of those london clubs there own players already recognize that its over for this year, and so it is for the arsenal, oh and viera is pure class, if i was ruddock that night viera would not have walked of the pitch

Leeds takes the Premiership.
Arsenal takes the FA CUP.
Arsenal takes the UEFA Cup.
Barcelona takes the EC Cup.

Any questions??

Don't be so cocky, fellow Manchesterians.
Even if we win the next match, it's not like we lead the league by 30 points. It's a long season, and things can still change. Leeds can rise, Manchester can sink, even Arsenal or Chelsea or (???) Sunderland can fight for the premiership.

Don't assume automatically, based over 3-4 good games (vs. an injured Valencia, and EVERTON!? Not a major tiger) that United will easily cream all of Europe and FA league and on and on....

Depth? Manchester has one of the best players in the world, of course, but in the end there are still some problems. Their offensive style forces them into holding top-quality defense players. Schmeichel was one, and (almost) single-handedly held United rolling. The goalkeeper position now is very shakey, and things are apparently not over yet. Also, United need Yorke in better form like last season, and not occasional bursts...

But in the end, every team leans mainly on their 1, 2, 3 main players. Beckham, Giggs, and recently Schmeichel were all prominent figures and leaders that pushed the team on.
Manchester needs, in my opinion, better defensive players. Aside from Stam, most of the defenders are not "big-shots"....

However, United's depth is truely impressive. Every player has a quality substitute, many of them full internationals. Players like Solskjaer, who come up from the bench and regularly score some goals, can hold a team's season much longer than Kewell himself can hold an entire team...

But aside from all them, the main player in Manchester has held that title for a while, is Roy Keane. His influence is incredible and he shapes the entire Manchester game.
Without him in good shape, Manchester is much less powerful. Examples are numerous:
-Semifinal FA cup last year, after he was sent off - it took such a virtuousic move to launch a goal against the quality Arsenal defence without him...
-UEFA ECC, and enough said.
-vs. Fiorentina, and again - Keane is too important...

An injury to Keane (as Kewell, which is my point) would present major problems to United's season - as it did a couple years ago, and cost them the Cup and Championship...

But in the end, how can there be any doubt?

This topic just shows the stupidness of Man U supporters.....as soon as they win a few games they are on a roll and are going to destroy everyone in their way......
hahahaha!!!!!

Di Canio took Man U's defence apart and as Goonerboy said, instead of chipping the ball Man U would have lost that game......

Their defence is shocking!!!!!
They will have to rely on their midfield, Cole and Solkjaer to bring them anything this season......Yorke isnt in form and Sheringham is just pathetic.
As Sella said before without Keane, Man U have no structure and run around like headless chickens......even he can make mistakes as illutrated with his great through ball to Batistuta!

And you claim Leeds dont have the depth and as soon as Kewell gets injured they will not be a force.....David O'Leary can always sign players when he wants as he showed with Jason Wilcox. Leeds have the money to strengthen their lineup all the time but the way they are going at the moment tehy dont need to.
And they were outplayed by Chelsea?????????
it takes a great team to last that long without conceding a goal..........
Martyn, Harte, Woodgate, Radebe and Kelly form a great defence and their counterattacking football has ton apart many teams this season.

Haven't seen a weaker Chelsea team yet, saw them against Leeds?, they sucked, and I mean against Leeds c'mon, they really suck.
As for Man U, well they lost to Marseille, and theyr'e rock bottom right now, and I'll doubt Man U will win the league, saw how crap Bosnich was against West Ham.
Arsenal is the team on the rise, and they'll just keep rising, trust me.

I think Chelsea did outplay Leeds, especially in the first half, still its the score that counts! Leeds was pushed back(they hardly had a scoring chance in 1st half), but have to say their defense was very solid, as solid as you will see anywhere in the world right now. Nigel Martyn saved them many times, but after the diving save early in 2nd half Chelsea rarely threatened. I think Chelsea just ran themselves dead in 1st half, and then Leeds pounced for the win. They may not have many great players but play great as a team.

Leeds are relying mainly on Kewell, but as deep as the chap may be, Leeds can still turn out to be Aston Villa II.

I'd like to remind you that last year Manchester United didn't look so great at the start of the year (and specifically, their defence and goalkeeper were in troubles), but they recovered and turned into a team that beat the crap out of everyone around.

MU plays offensive. That means occassionally conceding a few goals but scoring more...

By the way - Doesn't it seem that since Chelsea destroyed Manchester 5-0 they can't do anything, barely squeaking 1-1 vs Everton?

Looks like they wasted all their strength against Manchester, and now they can't do anything.... http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

ECC? Don't worry. Let us finish up with Everton and Co. and then we can mess with Fiorentina and friends... http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

"Haven't seen a weaker Chelsea team yet, saw them against Leeds?, they sucked, and I mean against Leeds c'mon, they really suck."

You make me laugh with your ignorance!

Kewell the Jewell i agree on one thing arsenal and chelsea are on downward spirals
but leeds taking the title this year are you mad when it came to face the defending european, world, and FA cup champs what was the result, didnt leeds lose or were you blind to that. You should be trembling rather than shooting your mouth off manu are almost fully healthy and west ham got a taste of that sure they almost came back but only because manu took the foot of the pedal just as any team would at 3-0 in less than 20 min
leeds have done nothing in the last few years and the fact you guys have started like aston villa did last year doesnt suprise anybody, theres still another half of the season to go and leeds dont have the tools for the job.

AND Finally leeds in first are you a joke just like your team its only beacuse leeds have played one more than manu which means manu have a game in hand dont be as ignorant as your team is!!!!!!
