I've recently purchased a year old Thinkpad. Theres one problem with it, the battery is shot. It will last around 20 minutes (if that) on the lowest power setting. Anyone got any ideas on how I can improve the battery life?

yeah my battery is **** aswell, lasts bout half an hour, i was told by packard bell to leave it in the bios and let it run completely down, then re-charge it, let it run down again and charge it once more and if that dosn't sort it then your battery has had it, hope that helps
buy a new battery?
